Finally, Event instructions are up for Saturday's Maybelline/Garnier Fall Beauty Event.

Yep, just printed them! I did email Alicia and she advised the kit was on it's way!?

One thing though, I've not done an event since the new reporting system...anything weird I need to keep track of or pay attention to that I would not normally be doing with the old reporting system? Thanks for any advise! 1st event since Aug. 10th!:cool1:

New Kmart event for 10/20, Dove and Suave Lotions, just showed up. Unfortunately, it's when I've got another event. :sad1:

Wow, that’s a long dry spell. Try and make sure the time for your receipts doesn't go over the total allotted event time. The closest I’ve come is 2 minutes over. I still get a “warning” message, but no problems with pay. Also, be prepared to enter a start/end time & date for pre/post event activities.

Okay, so I should make sure I clock in right at 11am and clock out right at 3pm? (that's hard to do) and how much time are you all spending pre and post? Not that I want to ever spend alot of pre and post time off the clock so what have you been averaging?

Yes, looooooooong dry spell!:sad2:

YEAH LISA!!!

I am glad you are up and working. Believe me I know how it feels during a dry spell. My biggest time waster is locating a manager to sign the form and I am constantly getting the warning messages as well.:dance3:

Thanks, I unbooked the University Medical one to do this (still no instructions for that one). I don't have to drive over an unsafe Minnesota bridge to get to Kmart lol

Yes, so happy to be amoung the "working" again!;)

Do you get the signature after you clock out for the day?
In the past, and this normally only worked during the week when the department manager was always around the area for most of the day, I would grab her towards then end of the day and have her sign. But Saturday's I usually never see a department manager.

You’re right, it would be hard to get an exact event time. If I’m close, that’s all I’m shooting for. I’m usually averaging 25-29 minutes pre/post event time on Time Reporting System. If it’s an event I haven’t done before, I usually allow 8 minutes the day before the event for pre-event activities. Day of event, depending on how much I have to purchase, another 8-12 minutes. Post event, 8-10 minutes to fill out paperwork, report, mail, etc… Lastly, the managers signature, around 5 minutes - if lucky. As you can see, it doesn’t take long to get to 30 minutes. As far as mgr’s signature, it depends on the store when I get it.

I thought about doing that too since Kmart is 5 min. away and WM is 18 min. away. I decided to stay at WM since the kit will be delivered to me as it a 50/50 shot that Kmart will find the kit.

Just received my Gift Card for the last quarter and just like Splash, mine is for Target.

I'm a little scared of that too - haven't been to this Kmart before so I have my fingers crossed.

still no kit for Garnier event but the Good news at least we only have to be tortured for 4 hours. I am hoping it is an enhanced event though:cool1:

No kit when I got home from work today here either! And yes, here's hoping it's an enhanced event!:thumbsup2

Holy smokes!!! I think we should all move to Phoenix, AZ. Just for the heck of it, I put in zip code 85001 because I have relatives there. I can't believe all the Walmart Supercenters & Target Supercenters...AND ALL THE JOBS STILL AVAILABLE! :scared1: :scared1:

Maybe I need to send some referral cards with this years Christmas letters. :rotfl2:

Do it! Those points might add up

I have some questions for those of you who have worked the SuperTarget stores.

What do you do for a trash can? It doesn't say anything about getting one from the demo area...

How do you get all that stuff from the demo area out to where you are going to set up for your event? Do the tables double as a cart? Some of the events I have coming up require a ton of stuff from the demo area.

It doesn't say anything about extension cords for the appliances, do they have super long cords or are the outlets just high enough so that it works?

I think that's all I have for now. Thanks in advance for your replies. :)

The tables at my ST are carts on wheels, with shelves underneath. You load up the cart with all you need, including a waste basket and extension cord, and wheel it out to where you are setting up. The tables hold alot, I've never had so much it didn't fit underneath.
My ST also has mats for us to stand on. So, there's four things I always have to make a mental note to grab: waste basket, liner for waste basket, extension cord, and floor mat!
