I did the Powerade/Cheerios event as well. I totally agree that the 9-2 shift was quite nice. I actually felt that I was busier in general than during a normal 11-4. As for the golf game...I checked over in lawn and garden at about 9:40 am to see if anyone was over there to direct people to and there was no one. About 11-11:30 a lady stopped by to sample the granola bar and looked around at my table and asked if I was with MC and then told me she was doing the golf event. She was wearing a sleeveless/collarless white shirt (nicer than a tank top --kind of a blouse sort) and white tennis shoes. Not quite up to 'code'!! After I knew someone was there I already had my 'spiel' down and I had not included the golf in the begining because of no one being there so I kept forgetting to work it in. It seemed whenever I remembered to tell people about it or give them a tattoo they already had done it!! All in all a good day!

I have NOTHING else scheduled. Someone unbooked the Pepsi Max event today and I wanted to take it but DH said no--we are going to see his dad for a cook out. I hope something else comes through. I usually try to do at least 2-3 a month and really want to do more than that but this was it for June.

I forgot to say that at the SuperWalmart I was at today, there are usually 3-5 demos going on on a Saturday. I was the only one there today. So I guess even the other companies have slowed down for the summer.

I'm only working tomorrow because DH is flying out to Vegas for a convention for the week. I would love to know who in his unit thinks the military needs to go to Vegas 3 times in the last 12 mths for training from a vendor. One of these times, I'm going to tag along if I can find a cheap enough airline ticket.

Good morning everyone! Hope everyone who is working today has a great event and those spending time with the dad's has a great day also.

I sure hope our drought(lack of events) eases soon. I had to go out yesterday and get a new tv, old one quit on me. I need to replace the $$ in my savings account.

I was checking my TMT account (100 miles out - not that I go that far) and see that they’ve added 3 new stores for Events. Carnival Foods, Riesbeck Food Market, Pick N Save Store. I don’t know if any of you have these stores in your area, but they have a Back to School - Toaster Strudel and Hamburger Helper for 8/11. Maybe this event will come to WM’s too.

I love it when companies/units/etc have "conventions" in Vega$!:rotfl2:

Yeah. He does travel ALOT though. To less touristy places mostly. Week before last we was in Vermont. One month last yr, he was gone 3 out of 4 wks.

Back from Diet Pepsi Max. Typical Target event, product not chilled, not enough product, bought less, ran out of samples near the end, handed out coupons, yada yada yada. We managed to locate 22 bottles over time. I had bought 4. Sold 14. 4 bottles left.

14 bottles sold when its 99 cents & it BIGIF is pretty pathatic actually. :rotfl: But, really, the extra caffeine really put a damper on samples & sales. Store was quiter than normal due to Fathers Day too.

Back to SuperWalmart for Asain Sensations & Red Baron again tomorrow.

Talked to DH today before he left about our 7/4 week plans. Possibility we may be home for 7/8....so I could do that Target water event. Since NO ONE has booked any around here...maybe I'll hold out until the end & see if they offer extra $ in those emails. Meanie....I know. But hey! ;)

The Diet pepsi max did better than I thought. I bought 10 2-liters and used up 8. Yes the caffeine was a downer for some. Like I thought their were parents who gave the sample to their kids :confused3, at least I wasn't disappointed there. I think I sold at least 24 2 liters and some cases I lost count.

Oh my product was not chilled either. This ST is slipping, but I had one checker who kept running for me to keep my table full.:cool1:

I found a place to donate SOME napkins, forks & spoons. My dad & brother each have a boat at a harbor on Cape Cod. Each year, we have a "dock party" there. Like a block party, but its all the boat owners in our area of the harbor. Its the night of the fireworks for 7/4 week. Well, I'm supplying all the napkins, spoons & forks -- whether I make it to the party our not this year - dropping off stuff in advance. :thumbsup2 Too bad 3 oz cups are too small for beer.

I did Diet Pepsi Max today also. No chilled product and I had to wait for them to chill 5 12 packs. There were not enough 2 liters to sample from. No kit/table so NO poster or coupons to give out. It all sold anyway. I could have sold a ton of the 2 liters at 99 cents if they had more. Those sold out right away. Don't they tell them we are coming?! :confused3

Did Diet Pepsi Max today too... had no problem with stock. The Pepsi guy restocked the shelves mid-way through my event which was good but I have no idea how much was sold... I guesstimated based on how many bottles were picked up from my table. Some people loved the extra caffeine but most didn't... I had one lady literally screaming at me, and I quote "The companies that make this crap could give a rat's A$$ about anyone's health"... then proceeded to demand to know who I worked for Target or Pepsi, I said "neither" so started in on how I was accepting payment at the expense of others health.. It was pretty hard to shake her away from my table, she was really started to make a scene!:confused3 :rolleyes1

I officially have no more events booked.... I'm leaving for WDW in 12 days & am bringing the laptop so hopefully if something opens up I'll have some jobs to come back to!

My daughter did the Diet Pepsi Max yesterday. The manager at Target yelled at her (her words...so take it with a grain of salt) that she was supposed to call the day before so no product was chilled. Her stuff sold really well though. Another manager wrote on her form "great job". I have never had anyone write anything on my form

I have seen the printed info sent from Target to the stores. They are aware we are coming, it's up to the individual stores to comply. Glad Pepsi max is over and done.

I told it her it was not our job to call the store the day before.

What's up with Targets never chilling their product?? Managers don't read instructions apparently!

No events booked here! :sad2: Have less than 5 weeks till my trip to NYC:banana: and was hoping to have a bit more money to spend!:scared:

Here's a pay check question for you. This is what my check said this time.

Job 43961-0530 $50, $27
Job 44489-0602 $60, $8, $27

How can I tell what jobs they are for?
