Just found out about this savings catcher this week. I've entered my receipt and will see how far it gets. Reading the fine print makes me laugh a little, noting that it doesn't include many things, and that they don't guarantee which stores will be included in the "geographic region".
Here's a quote from the terms of service: "◦The Walmart Savings Catcher compares prices for identical items against print and digital ads from Local Competitor Retailers. Local Competitor Retailers means the top retail stores based on sales in the competitive trade area of the Walmart store where the transaction took place. The competitive trade area is determined by The Nielsen Company based on a number of factors, including the number of stores and people in the area. Local Competitor Retailers may change from time to time without notice to the user."
The rest of the terms are included here and lists all the items that will not be compared: https://savingscatcher.walmart.com/terms
I have found some terms pretty generous. Kroger had Muller corner yogurts on sale 10 for $10 and had a digital coupon for $2 off the purchase of 10. I bought two at Walmart and they gave me Kroger's "price" ($0.80). I couldn't have bought two at Kroger for $0.80 each because their coupon required I purchase 10.
