Waitlisting 2 studios at BWV

Has anyone ever wait listed for 2 studios (standard view) and actually got them? We have a trip coming up in Dec. It will be just my family the first week and then my parents decided they would be joining us for the second week. I currently have 1 studio at OKW and then 2 studios at OKW when they arrive.

We want to stay at BWV part of the time so right now we've waitlisted for 1 BWV studio during our portion. But I'd really love my folks to be able to experiencing staying at the BW. But I didn't waitlist the 2 studios because I thought it was really unlikely.

But I can't stop thinking about it...and now I'm wondering if anyone has actually waitlisted for 2 BWV standard studios and got them?

It doesn't hurt to waitlist, but my guess is that there are already quite a few members waitlisted for BWV standard view studios for this December. IMHO, the chances for two SV studios to clear the waitlist are close to zero, especially if you waitlist for the entire trip. I assume you would not want to take the chance of waitlisting by individual days - in other words, you wouldn't want to chance having to move back and forth between BWV and OKW. That could end up a nightmare - you & your parents may not even be moving on the same days!

Have you considered waitlisting for a standard view 2 bedroom at BWV? I know it's more points, but the chances of getting that are higher.

yes, i have waitlisted for 2 studios in aug a few years ago, they came thru but we had to move a few times, because at that point we really wanted to go and it didnt matter if we had to move as long as we were going. by the way we started the waitlist in june

FWIW, August is a lot easier to get than December.

I would love to waitlist for a 2 bedroom at BWV but I unfortunately don't have enough points to do that. It's an exact swap of points from OKW to BWV standard studio. I could have waitlisted a one bedroom....but my folks didn't really want to sleep on a pullout sofa.

Awhile back I had a nice DVC member who was going to sell me points I needed for a 2 bedroom but then my folks said they didn't think they could make it....so I decided not to buy them. NOW they're coming....but I don't want to buy the points for a 2 bedroom (but a part of me really does...I want to stay there so bad!) and then something happen and they can't come. If that happens....we can always switch the 2 studios to a 1 bedroom at OKW (if it's available).

And you're right Carol.....I don't dare take the chance of waitlisting seperately...we might end up a differnent resorts. They'd have to come available together......pretty unlikely huh?

Anyhoo....that's my long story
