Budget rental car - are these the same catagory at MCO?

Looking at booking through Costco. Budget has 2 cars in the same category - SUV Standard Elite, one is a listed as a Traverse and the other is a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Both seat 7 and hold 3 suitcases - but they have a $40.00 difference in price. Are they both in the same aisle at MCO? If so I will just book the one that is $40.00 cheaper. Looking to seat 6 comfortably.

Both will easily seat 6, comfort depends on how tall they are. I'd just take the cheaper one.

The model listed on the website has absolutely nothing to do with what you actually get.

It doesn't say "Traverse" or "Jeep Grand Cherokee" outright, it says "Traverse or similar" and "Grand Cherokee or similar." You can rent one or the other and end up with the other one, or something different entirely. You won't know until you get there.

They both say "Elite"? Typically they use elite when they are saying it's leaning a bit more luxury.

SUV categories are complete nonsense. "Elite" is usually bogus and tends to indicate 7-passenger, but not always. In my experience it's almost always a Durango once you get to the lot.

The really big ones for Budget are "Premium SUV" (Yukon or Suburban) or "Premium Elite" (Navigator or Escalade).
