Last night was dd’s very last lacrosse game. Dh bought Italian heros for us to eat while we “tailgated.” We just ate in the car while waiting for the game.
Tonight I grilled burgers with a side of tater tots.

I keep seeing the ads for spicy pickles but haven’t tried them yet. Are you enjoying them?

That brilliant idea is courtesy of one of my siblings and one of the best ideas she ever had .

Last night I added a boiled potato, peas and chopped parsley to leftover tuna salad and had a two for one mold salad dish. Still no dessert but I did start prepping mango gelato for Sunday night.

So when you don’t label your food you’re eating blind which is what’s happening today. Defrosting a large cube of soup or stew; won’t know what kind until dinner time

I’m out of the hospital but using a walker so not really up for cooking.
We did pizza and salads, hot dogs with onion rings and fries in the air fryer.
Today planning is for beef stroganoff if I can talk hubs through it and tomorrow I’ll make Sunday sauce in the crockpot.

Last night I went out for dinner with a couple friends. We all had steak tips with mashed potatoes and salad. They were cooked perfectly! Oh and 2 watermelon margaritas of course.

Landscaping co has been here since 7am working on projects…heard from my navy son…that is overseas that he shattered his ankle and is going to need surgery…UGH…and, I’ve been running after my grandson all am… now he’s down for a nap. Gotta take him back home after he wakes up…tired GiGi!!! Wine sounds great this evening.

Spring has finally arrived here in and it's been hot for the past two days. Not really the conditions for heavy comfort food but I've been promising myself bacon and corn chowder and cheese toast and this afternoon I have the time to make it. We'll eat while watching the Derby on DVR.
