We are staying one night next week in a VWL studio. (first time there) Other than non-smoking, location doesn't really matter to me. But, just to be safe, is there any room that would absolutely reduce me to tears if we got it? ;) We are checking in early (before noon)........but don't expect to actually get in the room until late in the day. And, to be honest, I wouldn't complain no matter what. I booked this room within 30 days of check-in and was lucky to get any room at all. MS had to put me on hold to accomplish it. Thoughts?

this the one room I would avoid - although it was a dedicated studio with 2 closets - just in case that could mean more to you than the view.

I would ask for a room close to the elevators. (the bad view is as far from the elevators are you could get)

the wood view (majority of the rooms) are very nice

look at this

DVC are trying to say what the view is - if the room is dedicated or lock off - other little things that other members might like to know - (not stuff that will be fixed - maid services, problems, etc)

how close to elevators or stairs - how close to the main lobby, etc.

Also, be aware that VWL has just one studio with no balcony. Don't remember the room number on that one , but it's on the fourth floor.

For one night I don't think any request other than non-smoking will carry much weight. You did say you are only staying one night!!

I wasn't going to request anything..........just wanted to know when I was checking in if I got a lemon :D

The only thing I know right now is that it is a studio lock-off, non-smoking requested - or at least that's what the confirmation says. Someone has to get the dumpster room..........I might be the lucky one.
