Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

Wow - thats alot of tv watching :goodvibes. I had thought about the Best Buy card. I am still collecting points so we will have to see what happens.

Thanks,
Linda

I don't about you but I'm scared to hold on to that many points (375k) that long and find out in the end (when I redeem) that my account is blocked, or the Kindle Fire reward is gone or Viggle decides to fold (hope not!!!).

That suggestion about redeeming for $25 Best Buy cards everytime you reach 37.5k points would be a safe bet for me, I think..even if I end up paying taxes in the end.

Thanks for that suggestion...

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Thanks for posting. I earned 4336 in 24 hrs including 1500 bonus sign on points.

I'm not able to get the bonus points for watching particular shoes yet....I'll check again tonight..

I'm able to have the TV on in the background at work so I have like 8 hrs straight today...

That's what I've been telling DH. That he needs to redeem his points every time he has enough for something because you never know when it will fold or the point values will go up or it will become harder to earn. Every site/app gets harder to earn as time goes on.

That's what i've been doing too. I'm afraid of losing what i've earned so I cash out when I reach a gift card or movie ticket.

When I search the app store it can't find viggle. not sure what I am doing wrong.

I will try again, but I wonder if it is available in Canada.

This is from there website:
I can't find my cable provider in Viggle.

First, check that your zip code has been entered correctly. You can change your zip code in Settings > TV Provider. If it has been entered correctly, please email support@viggle.com with your zip code and the name of your provider. TV providers outside the United States are not currently supported.

I know a few people here were wondering about the Viggle app for Android. My husband is waiting for that too!

A Viggle support member told me this morning that there is no specific date for the Android release, and to check back regularly. :sad2:

Very disappointing considering Viggle posted on their FB page saying it would be out sometime in March. There's only 2.5 weeks left in March, so if they don't have a release date yet, then I'm guessing it's not going to be this month.

I hope they prove me wrong! ;)

I have a question regarding the featured show bonus points that I hope someone might be able to answer.....

You can only check into 1 show at a time, correct? So if Alcatraz is on from 9-10pm....then I cannot check into another show until 10pm? Correct? But what if a show is on from 9-9:30 for 200 points....but then Alcatraz is on from 9-10pm....can I check into the 1st show at 9pm...get the bonus 200 points...then check into Alcatraz late at 9:30pm and still get the bonus 275 points for that show??

Just trying to figure out the best way to get the most bonus points!

Thanks!!

You only have to stay checked into a show for 10-11 minutes to get the bonus points. Then check into the next one. I'm up to $135 and a movie ticket from Viggle since joining after Valentines Day weekend.

Good to know - I didn't know that. I figured to get all the bonus points you had to be checked into it for the full time.

I'm not sure if it's changed or not, but you must be checked-in for at least 10 minutes to receive the check-in bonus. I don't know if this just applies to the first 10 minutes of when the show starts, or if you can check-in late and still get bonus points....

Never tried, but hopefully someone else knows!

Looks like someone else posted....cool. Guess you can check in late and still get bonus points! I might do that tonight because I'm watching New Girl and it only goes for 30 minutes....

Ahhhh - does anyone else have problems checking into shows sometimes that have no sound for the first few minutes. I have noticed lately that some shows start off with no sound or very low music - I feel that little checking in circle goes round and round - and then asks me to listen again.

Other then that, I love this app.

Thanks for the info!! I am going to try it out tonight!!! I usually check into 1 show per hour, but I will try multiple shows...record my points manually...and see what happens!

I guess I wait until they get android app to try out then. Sighs LOL

I cashed out for JC Penney last night, and was nervous about using them in the store. I just forwarded the email from viggle to my email address I use for my droid phone, and had no problems using the codes.

I haven't tried it with the Target cards I cashed out for a while ago, but hopefuly it works just as well.

Yep, I know exactly what you're talking about. If there is only music playing, I'll blast out my TV so Viggle gets something to go by....sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

But I'd still advise to check-in immediately when the show comes on. Because if you have to go through the audio twice, and then do a manual check-in, that takes time.

I've only lost maybe 2 or 3 minutes.....not much you can do if the audio fails. you're gonna lose some points.

I'm so sad right now! The Viggle Deal has changed, the movie tickets are gone. :sad1: For the past few days I was on the fence about redeeming for more movie tickets, but I never got around to it. You snooze, you lose!

The new Viggle Deal is 15% off your order at Fanatics.com. It's sports product stuff. 3,000 points

Viggle kept the movie tickets as the Viggle Deal for so long...I guess I assumed they'd always be there.
