Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

I notice the countdown timer is set at 28 or 30 seconds. Not enough time for me to google. :sad1:

With the other live events the timer was 45 seconds...

We're 16 minutes in and have only had (2) 15 point questions. Hope that "surprise" is around the corner! :rotfl2:

Oh, well. Free points is free points. But this isn't as good a value as the other Live events....

Anyone else have the program randomly shut them out...It randomly does it to me all the time ie:when I'm trying to check in. Any reason why it would do it?

I had this happen to me a few times today. Plus you know the 2 or 3 ads on the main page with the feature shows? When ever I click on an ad it kicks me out of Viggle. Viggle is very buggy today....

You said it happens to you all the time (when you check-in)...I'm assuming that's not just today but also in the past? If so, you should try uninstalling and reinstalling Viggle...your account & points will be fine...I've done it before. Viggle has a newer version as of yesterday anyway.

If that doesn't work try contacting them...something's not right.

Ok, I was just kicked out of Viggle during American Idol...:headache:

come on! I can't afford to miss out on a 15 point question, they are so scarce tonight.

You know the "Play Along Banner" that you click on to enter a live event? The +200 points it shows on that banner is the amount you can potentially win in this event. I didn't know that, read it on FB! Considering that the other Live Events were 10,000 points, 200 points seems kinda low even for a "middle of the week" impromptu event.

Why can't these be worth more points. I have not missed one yet:banana::banana:

I'm saying the opposite: Why can't these be worth more points, because I've only gotten 3 questions right?! :rotfl2:

A few observations on how this "smaller" event is different from the others:

1. Potential to earn only up to 200 points.
2. Countdown timer starts at 28 seconds.
3. Each question is only 15 points.
4. No "sympathy" points for incorrect guesses. (other events gave 10 points for incorrect guesses and 100 or 200 for correct guesses.)

That's all I can think of now..

Ok, I'm starting to "guess" more questions correctly! Maybe I'll fair well enough....:upsidedow

Wow! Sadly yes that was disappointing to earn 15 points! :rotfl2: I also got kicked out one time but it wasn't a big deal to get back in. I then gave up and checked in to my 9pm show because I knew I'd earn more points than the trivia.

I am glad they did the trivia though! :thumbsup2

Because they only offered 200 points overall, there weren't as many trivia questions as with the other Events. With the Daytona 500 questions were popping up every 3.5 to 4 minutes. With American Idol, we were on the third question at the 22 minute mark.

So I did find myself getting ansy. Not only were there fewer questions but they were only worth 15 points. I definitely have mixed feelings about the "smaller" Events.....not sure there's any incentive for me to do them if they keep it at 15 points per question. I left the Event at 9pm, and hit some ads/trailers. Got 200 points in less than 5 minutes. Beat that American Idol!

Oh, I ended up getting kicked out of the Live Event 3 times last night! It's pretty easy to get back in, but still annoying.

I have to say this program is starting to annoy me so much that unless they bring back the Target cards so I can turn this into disney money, I am unlikely to continue playing. Maybe worth it for Barnes and Noble. We'll see.

What about it annoys you?

For me there are a few things, Viggle Support's standard answers for everything. I've had different tech problems over the past month, and all they ever say is, "Log in and out." or "Uninstall and reinstall the app." These never work for me!

And about getting Viggle for Android....on Feb. 1st they told me, 3 to 4 weeks. I inquired again yesterday and they said 3 to 4 weeks. Sigh, my DH will never get to experience Viggle, except through me!

The rewards catalog is a bit annoying. Many members are very vocal about what GCs they want restocked.....and those are the ones that haven't come back.

How you feel about the Target GCs is how I feel about B&N (and Target). If they got rid of B&N GCs, not sure that I'd be doing Viggle at all. The selection of gift cards aren't that great, but that's a matter of my personal taste. ;)

Wow, I didn't hold back, did I?! :rotfl2: Sometimes it's just nice to vent....

But as long as they have B&N GCs, and the tech issues stay at bay, and I get my points....then I'm happy! :goodvibes

I figure that through this app and doing things you would normally do you get free gift cards...even if it's not my favorite gift card free is free and i'll take it.

You all know that at some point Target will show up again. I keep doing Viggle and waiting so when they do I will cash out a bunch of points. I know that I have posted this already, but has anyone tried CVS to see if they would work on Disney GC or other GC they have???

I would try, but I do not have a CVS close enough to me.

I want to give you a heads up. For anyone wanting to use the JCPenneys gift cards. I redeemed four of them today and tried to place my order online. It would only accept two egift cards at a time. I tried to call and they could only accept two egift cards then as well.
Just a heads up, I was buying one large item and had to pay $20 more than I expected :headache:

You CAN use more than one AT the store. We live an hour away from a store, so that didn't help me any.

That's the problem though. Many people are waiting for Target GCs, so they stockpile their points. And by the time they do come back it's a race to get them before they're gone. It's sad but true. Happened to me on the second to last Target batch. :sad1:

So even if they come back periodically, there's no guaranteed you'll get them before they're gone.

Yea, when people hear the word "free" they'll take it even if they don't want it! (Just a general comment, NOT pointed at anyone here. I just like to explain in general terms...it's how my brain thinks!) :flower3: Like I would never redeem for a JC Penny GC...I never shop there, so what good would it do me even if it's free.

Now granted, at any time Viggle seems to have a pretty good selection of rewards. I've never not found anything I didn't want when I had the points to redeem. My top major 3 favs are the movie tics, B&N, and Sephora. Just noticed they added more Sephora today! :cloud9:

I just hope there never comes a time when the reward catalog is so empty, that I don't see anything I like. Remember a few weeks ago when a handful of rewards were gone, and they weren't replenishing, that was pretty scary! :scared1:

Still waiting to hear from QueenDoOver about why you think Viggle has become annoying. That's kinda what got me going on my last post! :rotfl2:

My son cashed out his points last night for 2 itunes cards, got on itunes immediately and spent that $20 on a season of his favorite TV show. I wouldn't pay for it so he did viggle for a few weeks, minimal time involved, and he got something he wanted for "free".

Its a good deal if you are already watching tv or websurfing and canpoush buttons on your phone.

Quick question
(sorry if it's already been answered, but 31 pages is a lot of reading to get through)

Does anyone know how to delete reminders that were set when checking into a show? I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but trying to figure it out is driving me crazy!

I was able to remove reminders that were accidentally set while browsing the list of featured shows without a problem. But when I try to do the same thing with shows I actually checked into, instead of removing them, I get yet another icon for the same show on my reminder list.

I read about this here. We've been working for movie tickets. Movies are frivolous in our current budget so we are thrilled. Hopefully you all get your target cards back.
