Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

Still waiting to hear from QueenDoOver about why you think Viggle has become annoying. That's kinda what got me going on my last post! :rotfl2:

Hi There! Had to go to work and whatnot...

Yes, I hate that it is inconsistent. I log in, have a check mark and sometimes get no points until the next day. Then I might get 1000 or 3000. Sometimes I check in and check in and never get a check mark.

Then the darn gift cards running out when you finally struggle through all the tech problems is super annoying!

You all know that at some point Target will show up again. I keep doing Viggle and waiting so when they do I will cash out a bunch of points. I know that I have posted this already, but has anyone tried CVS to see if they would work on Disney GC or other GC they have???

I would try, but I do not have a CVS close enough to me.

I went to 2 of my local cvs stores and they both told me the same thing "you can not use a gift card to buy a gift card".

This might depend on the store as very recently I was able to purchase a visa gift card using an Amex gift card at a CVS. I asked first and the cashier wasn't sure if it would but we tried it and the purchase went through. Not sure how it works with a Cvs card. Can you use the self checkout to get gift cards?

Hi guys! I'm new here ...only got the app yesterday (recommended by a friend who has been asking me to download this for a while now).

I was just wondering, I noticed Covenant House and Boys n Girls Club as part of the rewards. Has anybody tried this? Do they mention who gave the donation? I would rather remain anonymous but I don't know if that's possible. Also, has there ever been a time when it has gone lower than 7.5k pts?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Just redeemed for my first prize, :cool1:

Have been accumulating points for 3 1/2 weeks (usually by just checking into an overnight show), don't really have the time to log into the featured shows, do the trivia, etc.

But I was able to get enough points for 4 movie tickets... excited about that.. going to probably take dd's to see either Chimpanzee or Titanic 3D when they come out.

Since we rarely go to the movies, they'll be super excited.

CvS will not allow you to redeem for gift cards

For those who redeemed for the Hollywood Movie Money tickets:

This was opening weekend for John Carter. Used the movie tickets with no problem! Theater employee even suggested we see John Carter in 3d to get the most from our vouchers, but we declined....we just prefer the 2d movies! :thumbsup2

I know there were some who said you couldn't use these tickets for opening weekend, and some who could. So just wanted to chime in that I could use the tickets!

These tickets are still listed as the Viggle Deal, and I'm about to redeem for another 3 tickets! :woohoo:

Lucky! Our theater said nope, if it's a movie that doesn't allow passes then that includes these. I'm going to keep redeeming for movie tickets. We never go to a show on opening weekend, it's always too crowded so it won't really affect us.

Yea, we usually go see a ton of movies during summer, so I need to stock up on movie tickets while Viggle still has them. Bummer, I guess each theater is different but I'm glad I lucked out because we love seeing movies on opening weekends.

That Wiz Khalifa video for 100 points yesterday was awesome! It's still there today, but not giving points. People were going crazy...one woman even posted on Viggle's FB page that she clicked that video 20 times for points! :scared1: I can't believe she posted that on their FB.....:rotfl2: It's like admitting to a crime!

I'm leaning towards more movie tickets as well, especially with Summer coming up in a few months. FREE makes it even better! I had thought I'd start saving for the $25 BestBuy cards for Xmas presents and just stash those away.I decided I wasn't going to save up for the new iPad through BestBuy - I'm going straight through Apple.

I did redeem a $5 B&N for my DS since he loves books & Legos. He had his eye on a Lego that he really wanted. We also received a 15% off for B&N online or in the store so he went Friday and used the $5 off egift card and the 15% and a $19.99 Lego was $11.99 - not a bad deal :) Just an FYI to sign up for their email discounts - if you haven't already - so you can perhaps take advantage of both!

We have redeem now 6 movie tickets and never had an issue on the first week. Also yesterday I got money back :confused3. Our tickets were $11 each for John Carter 3D. I guess she run it for the whole $13 for each tickets and then gave me $4 back :thumbsup2.

Hey, that's pretty cool for you! :cool1: Bad for her....

When she has to count her register at the end of her shift, she'll notice that she's $24 short....and then she'll realize her mistake. Looks like she treated those movie vouchers as though they were gift cards. Hope she learns for next time! :thumbsup2

That is if she ran each ticket at $11. If she did $13 a piece then there won't be a shortage.

Wait...I'm confused. Trying to watch The Walking Dead while I post! :rotfl2:

Did you get $4 back per ticket, or $4 total??

Even if she gave you the difference back that would be $2 per ticket....the price difference between $11 and $13. So for six tickets that would have been $12 you got back....

Please explain, guess I don't understand.

Viggle has add a Kindle Fire to the rewards catalog! 375,000 points

diznee25

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - I want that but do not have enough points :confused3. I must watch more TV. Hopefully this will stay for a while and I can get my points count higher before they run out. Ok - no one order the Kindle Fire until I have enough points :rotfl:.

Not that I want the Kindle Fire, but I did the math anyway. Since I work from home, I pretty much watch a lot of TV. At 4,000 to 6,000 points per day it would take me 3 (ish) months to save 375,000 points!

Something that might help you get the Kindle Fire faster: Save for 8 ($25) Best Buy Gift cards, and purchase from there. It would only cost you 300,000 points for the Best Buy GCs, therefore saving you 75,000 points overall. Of course, you'd have to pay tax buying from Best Buy, but that's the only drawback I can see.

Hopefully Viggle will do a major Live Event soon to help you out! :thumbsup2
