Vero at 7 months

We are in the process of planning our next vacation. We would really like to stay at a 2 bedroom in Vero Beach starting next April 15. However, I need to wait until the 7 month window to make the reservation. What are my chances? I know the resort is fairly small - will anything be available? Thanks for any advice.

You never know. We just snagged a 2BR ressie today with an arrival on the 16th departure on the 20th of December. MS said they had lots of 2BR units available, but alas, not beach cottages (which is what I really wanted).

We went to Vero last March and we called right on the 7 month window and got a 1 BR. You never know, but I think you have pretty good odds of getting something. You can call MS now and see what is available for April, then plan from there.

You may have a decent chance in 2002 because of the early Easter since many schools schedule Spring Break around the Easter holiday. Spring Break extends to a lesser extent through most of April, so you can't be sure, but its certainly worth trying.

I specifically added on 100 points so that I could get the 11 month window and book during this peak season.

I called last week at the 7 month window of our departure date and got a 1 bedroom(at Vero). No problem. These were our first choice dates and reservations were available. This was also our first attempt at making reservations as new members. So far so good. Good luck.
