Hi! In terms of the Welcome Aboard Variety show. . . what is it? How appealing would it be to children? For example a 7 year old? A 4 year old? A 2 year old? A 1 year old?

Also, how similar or different is this show to the Farewell Variety Show? Is it essentially a repeat?

My experience has been that the Welcome Variety Show is a whole lot of fun but I can't imagine a 2 year old or 1 year old being entertained. When we sailed with my family, my 6 year old niece was entertained......For about 10 minutes. That was the same for ALL the shows though. Strangely enough, Disney Dreams was the worst. She was over the Characters after about 5 minutes. In fairness though, she would have rather been swimming or at the kids club.

I've never been to the closing show, so I don't know about that one!

Have fun!

The welcome aboard and farewell variety shows are about the same - but are always different. They have four people per cruise (such as comedians, magicians, comedian/juggler, comedian/singer), two of which perform at each of the shows. Each show also has dancing by the performers. The farewell show has all of the characters also to say "goodbye". All four of the entertainers will also perform one night each in the Rockin' D Bar. Hope this information helps.
