URGENT!! Please help

Bad news. Immigration will not allow them on the ship. Disney was helpful and offered a cruise credit for what has already been paid.

We are looking at different options. Maybe they stay in Orlando for a week and hit the parks, maybe try to catch the Thursday cruise (but this would mean flying them home so they can get a new driver's license).

Pretty frustrating. They have been looking fwd to this cruise for more than a year. Such a kick in the gut.

DCL isn't the problem - irrimmigration is the problem right now and they have the last say - does your wife or child have a picture ID

All I can say is that Norm and I are still trying - we did go to the immigration office and we did talk to a number of folks that were awesome so here we sit waiting for the "phone call".
Now may this be a thought for those that will be sailing with doc in hand that there are scumbags out there that has no heart and could care less.
I never wish anything bad on anyone cause it always comes back, but I know that God took a huge red pen and put their name/names on His list - CAN NOT PASS )
Keep the prayer chain going and we will see.

Not that I don't appreciate it but really there are no strings attached for Norm and my help - we are all family and that is what family is all about.
Our first priority is those that find themselves in a bad spot and need help.
The shop just gives us an avenue to help if we can. No big deal
Anyhow my stomach feels like someone dumped 10,000 jumping beans in there - I wish the phone call would come.

As someone just pointed out to me and that is when a door is shut, a window opens and that is what I am hoping for Stephanie and her daughter.
They have not decided as to what they are going to do since they can not go on their planned cruise, but I am sure it will be something that is best for them.

Now please let me also say that Kelsie and John from Dreams stood beside me and helped with phone calls etc in trying to make this all become possible. If anyone has had any doubts if DU will come through in a pinch, they came through again like a giant boulder trying everything they could in order to make this cruise happen.
We have been on this since this morning and we are having to admit rules are rules and must be followed.
My sincere appreciation to Kelsie, John and the team of DU - you each made it easier to work through and I am sure that Scot and Stephanie will forever be grateful for caring enough to give them help.
Remember this horrific lesson and take precautions cause the scumbags are still out there ready to take from you.

To Scott and the family, my thoughts go out to you. Thank goodness Disney are willing to let them cruise again. I know it sucks right now, but they will still get to cruise, I guess this just wasn't their time.

To Shirley and Norm, this proves just how amazing you both are. I can vouch for the fact that Shirley just helped me out with something a couple of weeks ago, and to see you stepping in like this is a true testament to who you are- THANK YOU for being here for your Dis Family.

and to Webmaster John and all at DU, I saw some recent posts criticizing DU for some fairly trivial things in other posts. This proves to everyone a good TA will go to bat for you and help wherever they can. Unfortunately it looks like it wont help with this one, but it can be gold dust if you are in a bad situation.
