Hello everyone,

I submitted my registration for the IBCCES card last week and was wondering if anyone knew how long it takes for it to go from the card to go from temporary to no longer temporary? Also if I am planning to go to a park that utilizes the IBCCES card would it be considered a valid card even if it still says its temporary for access to accommodations?

DS card had final IBCCES approval in 24 hours. All this card does is verify that you have an approved disability. We still had to discuss with the park we were visiting to see if they would approve him for accomodations.

We were going to Universal so the next step was for Universal to contact us to see if DS needs were approved by them. They called me 3 days before our park day. We discussed his issues and they did approve him and gave us a Case #. Once in the park we were directed to any Concierge Desk to get his AAP pass, because we had a case number. They did say Guest Relations would handle any guests who had not completed the approval on the phone with the Park Guest Accessibility services, and they would have to discuss with GR if they even qualified (their exact words were "plead their case").

True but I do know that sometimes even if its just for verification of having an approved disability could cause issue with trying to recieve/be approved for accommodations. Luckily they approved or verified my card today so I am not as concerned now.

I think I may be going to Universal in a couple of months so I know I have to contact them/add them to the list of my card and then wait for a call or call them to get approved. I'm going to Knotts berry farm relatively soon and I don't know what their method is like since they just recently started using the IBCCES system since they were bought by Cedar Fair/Six Flags merger.
