I'd like to know the name of the hotel in Orlando that sent their employee half way towards Port Canaveral with the purse. That was also a very kind act.
I know it was a Mariott, but in all the confusion and hustle and bustle, I forgot to ask Steph and Scott - I thought of the same thing but just have had too much buzzing around my head - maybe Kelsie knows and will post.
I just know that everything that was done brought out the very best in folks and also it showed that there is still so much caring especially when our world has felt like it has been caving in on us. You pick up the paper, you read on the net, you experience it yourself of all the wickerness and you stop and wonder "doesn't anyone care about anyone anymore"?
All of sudden a young lady is put in a situation that many have been in OR could happen to them and an army of caring folks pop up and willing to help just to help without any strings attached. All the planning, all the I know it won't happen to me cause I got everything covered, goes out the window cause just when you say it won't happen, you are brought down to your knees cause it did. I didn't realize that Steph's TA was DU until about 4 hours into the scrambling around and was really relieved simply b/c I am comfortable working with them - I have worked with other TA once in a while but none have had the problems Steph had. I wouldn't have cared who the TA was, it was the caring, concern AND the support this board offers that made making stuff happen so much better - It is so true DU are not miracle workers, they are not magical faires and using them won't guarantee you miracles, but I tell you one thing, they sure make it possible for those that want to come on their site and discuss anything from apples to zebras.
OK I am off my soap box again and to say thanks again to all is repeating myself, but I love repeating myself.
May today continue to start off great for everyone and know even if there wasn't a shop, we would always still be here for ya.
