UPDATE Michael Jackson rushed to the hospital (He Has Died)

This one hit me hard. As a newly 33 year old person.. he was the person I listened to. i can't think of another example of someone that MY generation listened too. I"m sure there are others, but this one hit me hard.

I'm 35, I feel the same way.

I understand my mom's pain for 'her generation" when they would pass on, now.

I was about 9 when Thriller came out. I had the biggest crush on him. I was obsessed. I feel bad because I think he turned out the way he did because of child abuse by his father. No one can deny that he was an amazing entertainer. Not too long ago I tried to explain to my teenagers how he was the biggest entertainer in the world when I was growing up. He fell from grace so quickly. I doubt he has known a moments peace since he was a child. Maybe he needed to find peace and this was the only way to do it (I'm just speculating on the suicide theory).
I haven't liked him for years but Billie Jean is on my ipod. I love that song. He was such a huge part of my childhood.

Michael never released information on Blanket's biological mother. He said the child was conceived via artificial insemination using his sperm and the surrogate's egg.

Exactly, it's sad that he is dead but I think the Michael Jackson we "knew" died a long, long time ago. I was hoping he would get to find peace before he died, and finally get past not only what was done to him but what he had done to himself. He was adored by millions but he hated himself so much he mutilated his face beyond recognition.
The media is not going to leave him be even in death. Move over Gosselins, there's other people to trash and the dead can't fight back.

I am still in shock. My kids are asking me why i'm walking around like a zombie now. Maybe its because Michael and I are the same age and it kind of makes you realize that anyone can go at any minute at any age.

Gotta love the justice system. If you have enough money you can wiggle out of anything.

You know, I see this as incredibly unfair.

If I'm not mistaken, this did not go to trial because the family took a pay off.

Would you take a pay off if your son was molested? I sure as hell would not.

Then you've got child stars Macauly Culkin and Corey Haim both attested to the fact that Michael never did anything at all, inappropriate to them.

This isnt O.J. we're talking about. AND - he's dead, now.

I didn't read all of the posts so this may have been said but I wonder if he didn't have a crush on Farrah and he was upset and maybe crying real hard and that caused a heart attack. Just a thought

MJ spokeperson is on CNN talking about the scene at the hospital.... crowds..playing his music...music bouncing off the walls...

I feel terrible for anyone else at that hospital today.....

Then don't comment on it. If you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all and for the record as others have posted he was aquitted of those charges.

To this day I beleive and know in my heart he NEVER hurt those children. He was a very odd man but the talent that he had will never be seen again.

THAT is what he should be remembered for.
