I just checked out the maternity clothes link. (For some reason it got hung up the first time I clicked, then the 2nd time just took forever to load the page.) Cute!

Makes me miss being pregnant. I loved being pregnant with DS7, and had a very easy pregnancy. The 2nd pregnancy was hard, physically difficult and painful, and we had a few scares, so I don't miss that one. But the first one just seemed so magical, so "dream come true" (which is was, after 4.5 years of trying!) Everything about it was great, there's nothing like growing a little person!

I know!! I really like being pregnant. But I guess thats because I never had any issues with it. I was great with Alex up until my last week or so, them I was just DONE. But I worked really long hours, standing on concrete all day. Which isnt fun NOT pregnant!:lmao: Mikalah... well, I remember getting really sore, and dh telling me to buck up, he was trying to ENJOY the pregnancy. :lmao: :lmao:

I didn't really like being pregnant. I'm kind of a control freak, and for me it was something that I had no control over. My first one wasn't bad, but the 2nd one was downright horrible. I know for a fact that if my first one had been that bad I would never in a million years went for a second one.

Awww!! But its like a party in your tummy! I enjoy having a reason to ask dh to rub my feet and eat a lot. :lmao: :lmao:

Yeah, if DH had ever thought of having a 3rd, the 2nd pregnancy woulda killed that. He was really scared, would have nightmares about me dying in childbirth (he had nightmares during both pregnancies), and when I had trouble walking, he had to take over more of the home stuff. By the end I was on bedrest, and he was having to do EVERYTHING, all I was allowed to do was pick up DS from daycare at the end of the day. So he couldn't WAIT for the baby to arrive so I could start helping out again! :rotfl2:

I think part of the reason I liked it, too, was that people were so NICE! Even perfect strangers would smile and say hello, ask how far along I was and say nice things. Of course there was the odd person that would just feel up your belly, WHOA!!! Do I KNOW YOU??? :scared1:

:lmao: :lmao: Ill bet! I am HOPING that I will fly through this pregnancy, like I did with the other 2.

Oh on the Oxy Clean, you can use the generic version just as well. Mix about 2 tablespoons to 2 cups of almost boiling hot water. Then pour the entire 2 cups over the stain or just 1 cup for a smaller stain. The first time I tried it someone recommended it for a Koolaid stain that was about 1 year old that I had tried everything on and it got it out completely. I have not found a stain yet that it won't get out that way. The real trick to it is making sure to put the towel and something heavy on it for at least 12 hours or so. Otherwise it doesn't work any better than the other cleaners.

I would multi quote here, but Idon't know how, so I'll just make some comments, aand hopefully everyone can follow.

Pix- I'm glad that you are OK and so it your D/F's car. I ran over someone's cat once. I went and apologized to the owners, and felt so bad. It's such a weird feeling when you hit something. :scared:

Bernice!!
I was getting concerned about you and your DH. Glad you were just abducted by aliens, and nothing serious happened. :rolleyes1

Christina, How are ya?? How are the Scots treating you?

On Easter we always go to church in the mornings and have a big picnic and Easter egg hunt with all of friends. We traditionally dye hardboiled eggs, and fill the plastic ones with candy. We do money in the eggs for the big kids. OK, my kids are old, and they still go all out and race around looking for the big kahuna golden one which has a $20.00 in it. :rotfl: It's fun to watch them!! I guess you are never too old for games........especially when there is money involved. And now it's fun, because my GSs are old enough to look for eggs.

A week from today, Dave, DDKaitlyn, DDBecky and SILNick are going to Mexico on a mission trip, to help build some housing and facilities there. On the way, they are going to drop me off at my Dad's in San Diego. I will be there from Sunday to Wednesday. My brother lives in Oceanside, so I will be visiting him too.

I just talked to my Dad, and he said they are having alot of trouble in Tijuana right now. Apparently, some people are dressing up as Policemen and kidnapping tourists. Then using the victims phones, they call the family and demand money or they will kill them. :scared1: My dad said because of this, the tourism has gone down to about half of what it used to be. He said he wouldn't go down there for nothing right now. Which is weird, cuz he is so not like that.

Dave and family are going to Ensenada with about a hundred people, so he said they should be fine, cuz they will be in a big group. I don't really like him going to Mexico, cuz of his heart. But he seems fine with it, and really likes to do this sort of thing. I've been quite a few times myself, but I've come to the time in my life, where sleeping who knows where, and if there is a shower or not, is no longer my cup of tea. Just a fact of life for me at the moment.

So I happily will go to my Dads and sleep in a bed, and shower with water everyday. (One time we went to Mexico, and there was one shower for everyone. Under the spout was a bucket. The water only dripped out of the spout, so the bucket was there to catch the water. After you got enough water in it, you then could rinse yourself off. And the water was cold!!! And waiting for it was cold too!!!):headache:

Do you put the towel on right away, or let it soak in a bit?

Okay, when I was pg with Alex, I worked at Mucklestoot casino. There was a woman who used to rub my belly every time I saw her... I had NO idea who she was! But she sure loved my tummy! My favorite was our employee dining area.. We got free food, and when I would go back there, they would give me one helping for me, one for the baby. :lmao: :lmao: Its a wonder I gained so much weight!

I like camping, but I guess my roughing it days are behind me. I like the cushy bed with electric blanket, my hot water heater and own shower. It's neat that they are going on a mission and able to do this together as a family. I'm sure it will make for some awesome memories.

Wow, that's cool!

I have never been fond of camping, which we did a lot of when I was a kid. I like being able to wash, use a toilet, and sleep in a bed. :)

My DSis was on a drum (meaning she was one of the drummers) on the powwow circuit in college, and they used to travel longer distances in the summers, sleeping on people's floors and not showering for days, eating whatever they were given or using any money the drum earned. I couldn't handle that, not knowing if you'd be able to eat or where you'd be sleeping!

Put the towel on right away, a couple jugs of laundry detergent to weigh it down and you're good to go. No need to scrub or anything. I also use dark colored towels that don't show stains or white ones that I can bleach. Because it will pull the stain out of the carpet and put it into the towel. Use a nice thick bath towel folded up.

Geesh I type so slow, that about 2 pages filled up on me.

Hi A and A!!!

How goes it?

Alison, I like to camp too. We used to tent camp all the time, until my bladder became weaker. I hated to getup and have to go the restroom. So I resorted to a coffee can. But then in the mornings I would have to discreetly bring it to the toilet to dump it. :scared: I told Dave, I'm ready for a trailer, and that is how we camp now. I am a wuss!! :rolleyes1

I am going to try this with one of our 10,000 stains!
I'm sure you'll sail through it, you're still so young, and you know the drill now. :goodvibes
I am hoping so.. I think I got a little weirded out when i was at my first appt. and we were talking about my health and she said that I was "OLDER" now.. I started to feel really old. I told dh about it and he laughed at me.. You arent even 30 yet, I dont know what you are worried about. The midwife said I was OLD!!! Thats what Im worried about!

I have heard that about Mexico.. But I think I heard it a while ago. Have fun!

I have never been a roughing it kind of person. Dh and I used to joke that my idea of camping was staying in a Motel 6. :lmao:

I bet you were her good luck belly!:lmao: :lmao: I let my nephew rub my tummy last night (he's 19). Told him it would be the one and only time I ever let him touch my b o o b!:thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Uh, no thanks! I am a planner, and I like to have everything laid out for me. Especially food. ALWAYS FOOD!! :lmao: :lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: OMG!! Thats funny! Mikalah is obsessed with my b00bs... She is always trying to poke them or pull my shirt up. Now that I have swelled up, she really thinks they are neat!:lmao: :lmao:

The herd is roaming the kitchen looking for something to eat. So I need to get dinner started. We are going to bbq. Just not sure what yet?:confused3 You know how it is around here when the weather's nice...gotta make haymburgers while the sun shines! Yeah, I know that was really, really bad.

One time we went to New Mexico to an Indian Reservation. One of the nights there was a potluck that we were invited to. I was tring to be polite and eat everyone's dish. One of them looked and smelled pretty bad, but I took a little. I tell you what, I did everything I could not to gag, and spit it out. I finally swallowed it. I think it was some kind of mutton stew, that had been stewed for for too long. :scared: :scared: :scared: :sad2: :sad2:

I'm kind of laughing now, but then it wasn't so funny! :rotfl:
