I'll have a 35-month old at Disney next week...how will he get into the parks? We're staying on-site and the rest of us will have our resort/park cards. Will he get one too? Or at each park do I just tell them he's under 3? Do I need to bring his birth certificate?

Thanks.

I took my 34 month old last year. Since we always had our stroller, my DH did his card and then walked over and pushed my son in thru with the stroller. I think if we didn't have the stroller my DH would have just held him in his arms. No birth certificate, noone ever questioned son's age. I guess it is honor system.

He will not receive any sort of card. When we went I just pushed him through the gate with me and never had to say anything about his age. I was only questioned about his ticket one time at AK but I told her his age and it was fine.

Our daughter was the same age her first trip, about 6 weeks away from turning 3. We never had any problem with her not having a card and the like. I brought a copy of her birth certificate only because she was big and tall for her age and it wouldn't have surprised me if we had gotten questioned, but we never did. It was never an issue, she was almost always in a stroller upon entrance, we ran the rest of the family's cards through and just walked right in. :)

I was also wondering about if you needed proof of age.
Last time we had a younger child he was just shy of 3 of course if asked he would say he was 3 since we told him we were going to Disney for his birthday. No one ever questioned us, he was also in the stroller when we entered the parks

Just curious what the policy is if a child turns 3 during your stay. We are thinking about going in Oct and based on our current dates my son will be turning 3 about half way through our 8 day vacation.

He will be free for your entire trip. As long as he is still 2 at the beginning of your 1st day on your "package" ticket, it will be fine. Have fun!

Thanks.

Follow-up question...if we use FP to go on something like PP, will my under 3 need a FP? Or does he just to through "free"?

As long as the child meets the height requirements for the ride, they do not need a FP- just the rest of their party
