There are a few TV documentary type shows that they show on TV every 6 months or so. They were even out on DVD. I may even own the DVDs. I recently re-recorded them anyway, as we are lazy and like to watch things off Tivo vs getting up and using the DVD player. :confused3

ANYWAY, this one is called Ultimate Walt Disney World, and the description says made in 2004. Pretty outdated, right??

NO! They updated it for many new rides, like the re-vamped Test Track, the new Fantasyland section, new Little Mermaid ride, AND best of all, a segment on the new upcoming 7 Dwarf Mine Train.

So if you see this show on your guide, do not fall for the 2004 in the summary, it is newer. The other two shows, WDW:Behind the Scenes, and Undiscovered Disney Parks, do NOT appear to be updates, just the Ultimate one. :thumbsup2

I noticed that too! They have played it a couple of times, the first time I missed most of it since I saw the date and thought it was an old show :confused3

it looks like they made it modular. parts of it are older and then sections can be updated.

This (and several other Disney docs) are on Netflix streaming too! I am not sure if they are updated though.

I used to have all of the Travel Channel Disney specials on my DVR until it crashed and I lost them all.... and for some reason I don't watch the Travel Channel much any more.... but I'll definitely be on the look out for this! THanks..............P

Those are all on Netflix. I wonder if it's updated on there?

Went to watch on Netflix a few nights ago and they are not on there anymore!

I bought the DVD pack at B. J. 'S. It has six( I think) DVDs and was around $18. Has WDW , disney land , cruise line and others . Is great to watch. And I'm upset that netflix removed it too! Was easier to watch that way.

I used to have that DVD pack (autistic son breaks DVDs for sport). But it was not updated. Maybe now it is, I bought it years ago.

(now son watches movies on his iPad, thanks to digital copies! No more broken DVDs. Sometimes the Disney specials are on iTunes, too)

They run on Destination America and the Travel Channel. Search your guide channel once a week so you can catch them next time they're on. :)
