Two Castles and a Polynesian Dream (A Wedding & a Disneymoon) Update*Mr & Mrs*

Parasailing, what fun! :goodvibes I will also admit I'm not such a fan of heights, but it sounds like a blast!

Also, that picture of the beach is simply divine. I can absolutely see you spending lots of time there, relaxing and having fun. So excited for you... and less than 4 months! Wow!

Thanks :) Castaway Cay day should be a nice relaxing one, am v excited to dip my toes into the blue blue sea :)

I have never personally done parasailing, but our oldest son did it with his then girlfriend during his high school graduation trip at the Contemporary. They had a blast.

It does look like alot of fun, but I will admit I am a bit :scared1: But am sure it will be a blast :)

Just checking in.....I'm still around but usually try to keep up via my phone. Love the updates and you guys are going to have a blast. I'm more than a little jealous!!!

Hey you :) How was your trip? You doing a TR?

Today is catch up day for me. I'm so behind in reading the threads I follow.
I want the recipes for all these beautiful cakes and what nots you keep making. They look sooo good!

So happy that things are going great for the two of you. I'm happy to hear that you've decided to get off at Nassau. Sea lions are so adorable:lovestruc.
We went to Atlantis the first time we went. The best thing was the lazy river which we rode over and over. It's the best one I 've been on and can't imagine a better one. I think the funnest thing we did in Castaway was rent bikes. We haven't rode bikes since we were kids. We had so much fun. I can't wait to go back. It's so nice not to have to worry about anything when your there because everyone is either employed by Disney or with their families so you can just relax and have fun and not have a care in the world!:cloud9:

Hello, glad you're all caught up. More than happy to send you the recipe for any of the cakes, just let me know what you want :)

Atlantis looks awesome and there was one time when I was trying to book a holiday there to stay for a week. I love the look of the big slide through the sharks. The floating tubes was through the other shark tank right? So awesome!

OMG I'm so jealous you're going parasailing!!! I've wanted to do that for so long, but there's no way I'm doing it in Disney World...not over Bay Lake, no way! :rotfl:

Serenity Bay looks like paradise...I really have to go on a Disney Cruise! :lovestruc

If you do a Disney cruise then you should so do the parasailing on CC :)

Hey All

Happy Wednesday :)

Me and Dave have the day off today. Went to Hatton Garden to look at my wedding band and its all ordered. Should be getting it in 4 weeks :teeth: So excited, I call it my Bling Bling Wedding Ring :teeth:

Today is also our cruise booking day which I am very excited for. Can start booking everything in about an hour. Will let you know how it goes :)

Then after that we're off to the cinema to see Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides 3D, very excited as we are seeing this out of normal cinema hours so should be nice and quiet :pirate:

Hope everyone is doing ok, chat to you all soon
Stefy x

Hey Stefy,
Wow, you certainly are having a lot of days off recently!:thumbsup2
I hope that you have a wonderful time at the movies!

Congrats on the wedding bands! I can't wait to see the pics!

Glad you'll have your wedding ring soon.

Let us know what you thought of the movie; I'm not a big Penelope Cruz fan so I'm not sure how I'll like it with her in it rather than Keira Knightley.

I was surprised when we got our MNSSHP tickets as well. They are the same design as my AP but the AP is paper and the MNSSHP tickets are plastic!

I love that you say only 16 weeks, that sounds so much better than 4 months! :)

Parasailing sounds like fun but I could never, no way! I can't wait to relax at Serenity Bay allll day!

Oh wow, parasailing! You are brave. That will be fun!

Ahh..the beach looks nice right now. :cloud9:

Yay at getting to look at your Bling Bling Wedding Ring!! :yay: Can't wait to see the pics.

Good luck with the cruise bookings - will keep my fingers crossed for you! :wizard:

Enjoy watching POTC 3D - we are also going to the pics tonight. I'm hoping we will be seeing this movie but will have to wait and see  It does mean that I will be catching up on the final episode of GG - so wanted to watch it today!

Yay for getting your wedding ring! :woohoo: Did you get your cruise booked?

I can't wait to see the new Pirates movie, I'm hoping to go this weekend!

April was a great month for public holidays and we have another one coming up at the end of this month too :teeth:

Movie was great, will post more soon on that.

Wedding band for me we can strike off the list, now just need to get Dave's.

Glad you'll have your wedding ring soon.

Let us know what you thought of the movie; I'm not a big Penelope Cruz fan so I'm not sure how I'll like it with her in it rather than Keira Knightley.

Thanks :)

Penelope wasn't that bad, as I am with you on the not that big a fan. But she was definitely better than Keira, hated her halfway through the second and all of the third movie :sad2:

Thanks, am starting to get a little worried about everyone saying how brave I am for doing parasailing, let's hope it holds up on the day

Beach and spa day would be nice right about now yes :)

Yay at getting to look at your Bling Bling Wedding Ring!! :yay: Can't wait to see the pics.

Glad you liked it :) So happy it's Friday today :teeth:

Hello All

 Happy Friday!!!

Finally the weekend is upon us, what plans have we all got then?

So as you all know, me and Dave took Wednesday off to do some wedding/honeymoon stuffs and I am happy to say that we got pretty much everything we were hoping for on the Cruise. Am gonna do a quick recap of our day by day with a little bit more info now :teeth:

Thursday September 15th - Embarkation Day
We'll grab a quick bite to eat at the resort before taking a last minute wander around to get more pictures. We don't have to worry about packing because we won't have unpacked. We'll organise the car to pick us up at around 11am so we can get to port for 12pm. Go through all the rigmarole of security etc and then head to the waiting area. As we are concierge we will board at a different gate/door, which is a shame as I don't think we will be going through the Ear Archway.

I doubt we will want to make any changes, so check in should be pretty quick leaving us time to explore and also grab a quick bite from Cabanas. Will also try and get in our shopping too, am keen to see the Cruiseline D&B wristlets :teeth:

Finally figured out our rotation, we got the second seating for dinner which means we can watch the shows first before heading to dinner.

Dinner tonight will be at...

Palo.jpg

Palo's, we got an 8pm seating which is a nice time and I think a great way to start off the Cruise.

Friday September 16th - Nassau Day
Today we will most likely be having an early breakfast in the room as we have a 9:30am appointment with these guys...

SeaLionEncounter.jpg

Should be alot of fun. I was told that normally what happens is you get your boat transfer to Blue Lagoon, have your induction or what not then meet the sea lions. Our pick up is at 1:30pm so not sure if we will have time to explore the island, but might try and see if we can find the dolphin observation deck and take a few pics.

Once back in Nassau, we'll go check out the rum shop near to the ship so I can get me some rum cake, then we'll head back onboard and do whatever for the rest of the day, maybe catch a ride on the Aqua Duck etc

Dinner tonight will be at...

Royal-Palace-02.jpg

Dinner time is scheduled for 8:15pm. Tonight is also Pirate Night, I forgot to ask our concierge team what time the fireworks are due to go off as we want to go back to the room to watch these from the verandah, will send them an email to ask me thinks.

Saturday September 17th - Castaway Cay Day
Very excited for our day at CC, I am envisioning (and hoping) it is going to be nice and relaxed.

I don't think we will have time for breakfast, unless we have early room service, as we have a 9am appointment to...

parasailing.jpg

Hopefully it will be good flying weather, should be lots of fun. Will most probably be scared at the beginning, but hopefully will be fine once in the air. Am keen to get some birds eye shots of the ship and the island.

After our little adventure in the air, we'll proceed over to Serenity Bay to check in for one of these babies...

Cabana.gif

So excited to have our own little beach hut as a base and from what I have read these are really worth the money. We have booked Cabana 19, not sure where its situated, but don't really care as long as we aren't too far from the beach. We also have a designated concierge guy that will drive us to the bathrooms (if they're too far away), food and such. Need to research where the shops are, but am thinking we will do our souvenir shopping just before we head back to the ship.

Dinner tonight will be at...

Remy-sign-inside.jpg

We have a 7:40pm reservation booked, which means we most probably won't leave the restaurant until 10:40pm. Am a little worried about packing and such. But I guess we can just do that quickly in the morning. Again we won't be unpacking fully, might actually make a small compartment in my suitcase of just cruise clothes so I don't have to go routing around for them.

...and that's it for our cruise. Should make for a really memorable start to our honeymoon :cutie:

Stay tuned for the wedding update, thought I would have time to do it now, but the evil place that keeps my pay check is calling.

Ciao for now
Stefy & Dave x

Stefy, that cruise sounds just perfect!!! You've picked out great things to do and it's just the right length of time! :thumbsup2

Don't be scared about parasailing. It's really not "thrilling" at all. I was kind of surprised.

Now that you've gone and posted about parasailing again, I'm intrigued...you only live once right? :lmao:

How much was the cabana if you don't mind me asking, it looks nice!

The cruise plans all sound fabulous, Stefy and Dave (I'm jealous!).

It's going to be a perfect start to your honeymoon.

Yay on it being Friday (and nearly Saturday!!) :woohoo:

All your plans sound awesome! I'm happy that you guys managed to get all the bookings you wanted! Way to go on booking a private cabana!! :cloud9:

We'll let you know what we thought when we get back, hopefully will be nothing but praise :)

Think they are around $400-$500 I forgot to get the total tally, was too excited about having everything booked :teeth:

Thank you :) Maybe when you read our TR you'll be tempted to do a Cruise with Mark :)

Thanks :) Can't wait to set foot on CC, I think out of the three nights that is the day I am looking forward to most :)

Fantastic cruise plans! I was looking into one for next year and was thinking concierge as well. I assume you have done a lot of research so I will ask you. What are the benefits to concierge on DCL. I know at WDW they make reservations and have different foods available all day but isn't food on the ship free anyway?

Yup, lots and lots of research :lmao:

With concierge we get priority boarding before other guests, no waiting around in the terminal is a huge bonus!

Concierge lounge stocked with food and drink, private sun deck & free sun screen. We also get to book all our excursions and dining 3-4 months out, the only other people who can do that are platinum club members which pretty much guarantees you whatever you want to do. I think there's also happy hour for about 2 hours every day in the concierge lounge which serves free wine and spirits etc. Im sure there's something I'm forgetting so Stef can fill in the blanks later.
