Two Castles and a Polynesian Dream (A Wedding & a Disneymoon) Update*Mr & Mrs*

Yay, don't you love getting Disney related things in the mail? :rotfl: The tickets are cute, I don't know why they can't just have a Halloween theme on them, but...:confused3 I should really get around to ordering mine!

I love Mickey Mail, can't wait to see what the DCL documents look like.

I agree that these are too plain and should have something Halloween-y on it, as after all that's what they are.

Hi Stefy! Just read through all 23 pages of your report!!!

ALL of your plans for the wedding, WDW, and the cruise look amazing so far!!! :goodvibes

I :lovestruc your flowers!!! Those are my favorites! We had a beach theme for our wedding/reception & our colors were blue & orange!!! I know that some people might think that orange isn't the most popular color for a wedding, but I LOVE IT!!!!

Your favors are very creative!!! I love how you incorporated the clock, almonds, and have decorations on them!!! They are lovely!

Your cruise plans sound AMAZING so far!!!! We are crusing on the Disney Dream next year (probably in August or September) and I cannot wait!!!

I have to take a look at my trip plans tomorrow & see if any of our days match up! I messaged you on facebook this afternoon -- our trip dates are Sept 14-23 :)

I can't wait to hear more about the wedding, cruise, & Disney!!!!

Hi and :welcome: thanks for making it over :)

Thank you for the lovely comments, we're so excited for the wedding and for our honeymoon, is going to be a year to remember that's for sure :goodvibes

We defo are at the World at the same time, am off to check our your PTR to see what your plans are too :)

Hope you are having a lovely weekend! It is finally here!! :woohoo:

Yay on getting your MNSSHP tickets though have to agree in that they do look a bit plain - it just needs a pumpkin or something halloween related on it!

When you put it in "weeks" it makes it seem so soon!!!

Most defo, sounds way better than saying 4 months :teeth:

Thanks, hope your weekend is going well too :)

Yes something small and orange would have sufficed :)

Hi Everyone :wave2:

How is your weekend going so far?

Thought I would do another update on Day 3 of our Dream Cruise. I can't believe how close it is getting now, so can't wait to sip my first Disney Cocktail of the year on the Dream :teeth:

Day 3 - Saturday September 17th
Today we dock in Castaway Cay and its going to be a relaxing lazy day for us. We'll start off with breakfast in the room, love room service, one of my fav things about being on vacation :teeth: Then get ready to head on down to explore the Island.

I love the idea that only one ship can dock at a time, it really does make it feel like its all yours for the day :)

Activity wise we are planning on doing...

parasailing.jpg

Parasailing! Should be lots of fun, can't wait to get a birds eye view of the island and to try and take lots of pics.

After that little adventure we'll most prob take out time exploring before heading to

Cookies.jpg

Cookies for some lunch.

I defo want to spend quite a bit of time here

SerenityBay.jpg

Serenity Bay, drinking lots of cocktails and soaking up the sun.

Of course there will be some retail therapy as well, gotta stock up on souvenirs too.

Its a shame we don't get as much time here as we do at Nassau, but we will defo be making the most of our time.

Parasailing looks like so much fun!!! I'm too big of a chicken to ever try it, but who knows, I might someday just to get some good pictures!

Serenity Bay looks soooo beautiful! You will certainly have a relaxing day there!

I forgot to write in my last post that we got our MNSSHP tickets the other day too!!! (We are attending the Sept 20th party) We got the same cards as you (Mickey & Goofy) with the addition of Donald! I was a little disappointed that my son's ticket was Goofy since he's my favorite character! :lmao:

Sorry I haven't posted earlier - it was quite a week and I am WAY behind on ALL my threads! :rotfl2:

So .....
I love ALL your DREAM days! If you read Jen's trip report, she has done the dolphin encounter and it sounds like a lot of fun - so the sea lion one should be fun too! :thumbsup2

Ask me again about the rum shop directions - there are TWO we like to go to ........ and did I mention they give out samples of the cake? :rolleyes1 :lmao:

Castaway Cay day - do NOT have lunch at Cookie's or Cookie's two!!!!!!!!!! Go to the one behind the Castaway Air bar at Serenity Bay! NO kids there, just adults and NO lines! :goodvibes
Try to get off the ship early and get back late and DO NOT use the post office there!
A) you need to pay in cash (means you have to carry some!!!!)
B) We sent 12 (twelve) cards all over the US and Europe from the little PO on Castaway Cay and only 1 (yes, you read that correctly, only 1 postcard) ever made it to its destination!
Save the money and send any cards either from the ship or WDW!

Oh, before I forget - love the idea of parasailing - I am TOO much of a chicken for that! :rotfl2:

Have a wonderful and magical weekend!

Plans sound great!!! At first, I didn't realize the name of the place in the picture was "Cookies" and I thought you were saying that you will be having cookies for lunch!!! :rotfl: I was thinking to myself "now THAT sounds like a good lunch!!!" :lmao:

Yay for getting your tickets :yay: Always good when you get those out of the way :)

Am looking forward to parasailing as we have never done it before. I am not a swimmer per say so tend to stay away from water based activities.

I can't wait to get to CC is going to be so much fun :)

Ooh will have to look out for that. Am wanting to check out the Alaska TR's as I would so love to do one of those cruises one day

Ask me again about the rum shop directions - there are TWO we like to go to ........ and did I mention they give out samples of the cake? :rolleyes1 :lmao:

Oooh free samples is always good. I think we want to go to the one nearest to the ship :)

Castaway Cay day - do NOT have lunch at Cookie's or Cookie's two!!!!!!!!!! Go to the one behind the Castaway Air bar at Serenity Bay! NO kids there, just adults and NO lines! :goodvibes

Ooh that sounds perfect as we have some plans that we are thinking about doing (but still researching) that are mainly based around Serenity Bay. Thanks for the tip :goodvibes

Thanks for the tips :) I remember getting your postcard from your Cruise last year. Was so cool to receive a little Disney Mail :)

Thanks, am really looking forward to it, but will be a bag of jelly legs just before we go up in the air

Have a wonderful and magical weekend!

Hope your weekend is ok, ours has been good apart from it going by so quick. But hey ho it brings us closer to September right :teeth:

Plans sound great!!! At first, I didn't realize the name of the place in the picture was "Cookies" and I thought you were saying that you will be having cookies for lunch!!! :rotfl: I was thinking to myself "now THAT sounds like a good lunch!!!" :lmao:

Thanks :) Lol, I have had the occasional cookie lunch before and popcorn too, so bad!

There's nothing better to start your day then having room service and a lovely breakfast! :thumbsup2

Parasailing looks very cool - I have never done it so look forward to seeing what you think of this activity.

Enjoy your lunch at cookies and wow that beach looks awesome! I love that the first part of your trip will be soo relaxing and chilled out. Enjoy it before returning to the WDW parks! :)

Hi Stephy,

lots of lovely updates to read through!

great scoop on the HS dessert platters, how cool, will definitely help pass the time waiting for Fantasmic! think the first one looks especially tasty!!:cloud9:

Love your new playsuits, I can't really wear them because i've got a disporportionately long body and they look like a baby gro on me, but my sisters can both wear them and they are so handy for hols! and love that dress, where is it from?

The sea lions is a great idea and a bit different too, love all the cruise plans, the beaches, the cocktails, the shopping...lucky kentucky!:cool1: I will be interested to read about the parasailing would love to try that!

True that :) I want to try and wake up before sunrise at one point too and watch the sun rise from the verandah.

Very excited about parasailing, just hope I don't have my eyes closed for too much of it

I think the cruise is about experiencing something new and also relaxing as well. We don't know what to expect and in some ways that's quite refreshing, as we can simply take a stop and smell the roses approach :)

Hey Missy, hope your doing good :)

Can't wait to try one of those dessert trays, they look delish :teeth:

I need to go to Online Shoppers Annoymous as I can't stop buying stuff. I have bought three more dress from one store and two more from another yesterday. So bad!

We can't wait to go on our first cruise, is going to be a trip to remember that's for sure :)

Love the idea of parasailing....not so much doing it though. I think I'd chicken out at the last minute.:rotfl:. Serenity Bay looks heavenly. I hope to get there, although with a two year old, it may not happen!

Per your PP to me, DH is turning 40 March 5 2012 so I am surprising him with this cruise. I'll tell him that we will go do WDW for a few days before his birthday (February 27-March 1) and then go home. But what he doesn't realize is that we're going to cruise after WDW!:goodvibes

:cool1:for getting MNSSHP tickets! You would think that they'd have a little bit of Halloween flare to them?

Thanks :) Serenity Bay will be a dream, nice and quiet and peaceful :cloud9:

Your DH is going to be so surprised, you have to try and get a pic of the look on his face when he realises :)

Parasailing, what fun! :goodvibes I will also admit I'm not such a fan of heights, but it sounds like a blast!

Also, that picture of the beach is simply divine. I can absolutely see you spending lots of time there, relaxing and having fun. So excited for you... and less than 4 months! Wow!

I have never personally done parasailing, but our oldest son did it with his then girlfriend during his high school graduation trip at the Contemporary. They had a blast.

Just checking in.....I'm still around but usually try to keep up via my phone. Love the updates and you guys are going to have a blast. I'm more than a little jealous!!!

Today is catch up day for me. I'm so behind in reading the threads I follow.
I want the recipes for all these beautiful cakes and what nots you keep making. They look sooo good!

So happy that things are going great for the two of you. I'm happy to hear that you've decided to get off at Nassau. Sea lions are so adorable:lovestruc.
We went to Atlantis the first time we went. The best thing was the lazy river which we rode over and over. It's the best one I 've been on and can't imagine a better one. I think the funnest thing we did in Castaway was rent bikes. We haven't rode bikes since we were kids. We had so much fun. I can't wait to go back. It's so nice not to have to worry about anything when your there because everyone is either employed by Disney or with their families so you can just relax and have fun and not have a care in the world!:cloud9:

OMG I'm so jealous you're going parasailing!!! I've wanted to do that for so long, but there's no way I'm doing it in Disney World...not over Bay Lake, no way! :rotfl:

Serenity Bay looks like paradise...I really have to go on a Disney Cruise! :lovestruc
