trip insurance suggestions needed

Hi! I just made reservations for a big family cruise for the summer of 2012. Five days including Nassau, Castaway Cay x 2, and a day at sea. One of the party, my BIL, has Parkinsons. At the time of the cruise, he will be 60 and have lived with Parkinsons for over 10 years. Otherwise, he is extremely healthy. He has had a deep brain stimulator for several years but recently had it repositioned. He has many balance issues with huge extremes in good days and bad. Hopefully, the repostioning surgery and further adjustments will make improvements. My sister is very excited about this cruise but I'm doing ALL the planning. First up, we need trip insurance. Quickly, because of the pre existing condition. I have about a 7 day window. What do I need to consider? TIA

Check out insuremytrip.com to compare pricing. I always use Access America OR Travel Guard. Having a child with pre-existing condition I always look for insurance that covers pre-existing and offer a decent amount of emgerency medical evacution

Thanks. Really hope not to use the evac part, but would want it if he needed it. Actually more worried about a fall resulting in something that needs stitches.
