Top Secret Pixie Dust! A Surprise 13th Birthday PTR! NEW! TRIP REPORT LINK PAGE 220!

Classic, perfect, blissful Disney day. :cloud9: But I think you forgot to make mention of they grey goose slushie. :rolleyes1

Yay! It's almost time for Chelsea's 13th Birthday trip!!!!!!! :)

Hurray! Chelsea has been doing a dual countdown -- she will say, "Only five days until my birthday and only six days until Disney!" She's loving having her b-day and trip together, but I am feeling a little overwhelmed by it.

Soarin' + Le Cellier = A perfect day!!! :goodvibes Your Epcot day sounds fantastic!

Thanks! I get all kinds of excited when I think about any part of the trip. LOL!

It's getting so exciting now that the days are winding down to leave day!

Yes! I have been diligently checking things off the to-do list each day!

Where is that fruit stand? I stopped at Ellis Brothers for pecans & peaches on my way back last week. I made a tasty peach pie yesterday. I will be on my way back tomorrow morning. May have to get more on my way home. I just love Georgia peaches!:cool1:

It's on I-75 South about twenty miles north of the turnpike exit.

You will love CBR, but the main pool can get very crowded. The pirate touch is so cool.

We are looking forward to introducing it to the kids -- we really liked our stay there in October.

Don't forget an adult beverage for the KP missions ;)

Trust me! It's on the list, too! LOL!

Your first full day sounds wonderful, I love your 3s's.

Thank you! :goodvibes I was thinking about Le Cellier tonight as I was fixing dinner.

LeCellier will be great! I can't believe your trip is soo close. LUCKY!

We are getting pretty excited around here.

One day I'm going to take pics downtown and show my DIS friends what this actually looks like along with the Parliment buildings. ;)

That would make a cool intro if I ever decide to do a TR.

That would be a great way to start your TR!

It will take us 2 days to get to Orlando.
I drive aprox. 17 hrs the first day and 9 the next. :rolleyes1
People say we are crazy but we actually enjoy the drive down, we have been doing it since I was a little girl.

Seventeen hours??? You are a Superwoman!!! :worship:

Ah yes! the famous Stucky's Pecan roll is awesome! It is a wonderful pick me up while I'm driving. Along with many a frozen slush.
:ssst: I am HUGE frozen drink fan of any kind! :drinking1

Slushies are wonderful! I saw your countdown calendar over on MeMom's trip report, and I LOVE it!!! So pretty!!!

1st day at Ecpot looks great!
I have a dinner ADR for Le Cellier too. I aparently ate there as a kid but I do not remember it. :sad2:
I'm very ecitted to try the steak and pretzel bread.
And curious to see what all the fuss is about. :)

Me too! I am hoping it lives up to the hype!

:thumbsup2 Nuff said!!

:lmao: I agree!

Yippee for single digits! My mom and I leave for our quick trip on Sunday. We are going to drop our bags off at BWI and then walk to Epcot through the IG Entrance.

The main thing that I want to take her on is Soarin'. :lovestruc However, I'm nervous because we won't be to the park until around 10:30 and it's a morning EMH. I really, really hope that they won't be out of FP's. :wizard:

Hope you have a nice drive down and a super trip!

Smelling the oranges on Soarin' sounds like the perfect way to start your first full day at Disney!

I can't believe you're down to a week!

SIX MORE DAYS!!!

Oh, I can't wait to go back to Epcot!! Your day sounds wonderful!
How cute of Chelsea to do a double countdown! I would do that too!

Day 2 looks like another great day!

I don't know why I logged on and almost beat myself up cause I thought I missed Chelsea's birthday. Then I remembered tomorrow is my mom's birthday and Chelsea's is later on in the week. :lmao:

Mmmmmm....Le Cellier. Is this the first time you are eating here? I think it is if I remember correctly.

Soarin', Spaceship Earth & Steak. Can't beat that Disney day. :thumbsup2

I like LL's by line -- "Soarin' Spaceship and STEAK" -- kiss that filet for me. JUST sayin' OH and also, just FYI -- they have a "three course" meal with some choices, and they have prime rib. My DH says that is one of the best prime ribs he has had! If your kids like Mashed potatoes instead of fries you can get them.. I think they will also add green beans on the plate if you ask. Mostly they only give the fries/potatoes and the steak on the kids plate ( I am sure they were throwing alot out) OUR first dinner they gave them green beans, the second they didn't. When I asked they brought some... I ate them

I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU ARE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD IN FIVE DAYS!!!!

We will need to smell oranges on an early morning ride on Soarin‘,
Soarin.jpg

And eat a delicious dinner at Le Cellier.

Soarin'. Happiness.
Still my favorite ride.

Our first trip to Le Cellier, we weren't all that hungry, so it was only okay. Jill and John went this time with an appetite, and they said it was fabulous! I plan to go again when I am hungry so I can change my okay to fabulous, too. :)

Hurray for your trip, too! Lots of pixie dust for fast passes for Soarin'! :wizard: What other parks are you doing? Maybe we will cross paths!

Oh, good to know about the mashed potatoes -- Connor would live on mashed potatoes if he could! I think Charles has his eye on the filet mignon -- minus the mushrooms, of course.

Soarin'. Happiness.
Still my favorite ride.

Definitely my favorite ride at Epcot! :lovestruc

We are very excited to try Le Cellier -- I am not a steak person (Charles and Chelsea are), but their salmon sounds very good.

The pretzel bread dipped in the cheese soup is some good eatin'!!! :goodvibes

Yum, yum, yum!

FIVE DAYS!

FIVE DAYS!!

I can't believe it!!!

I think it would be okay, if you got lost on that kind of safari. ;)

I bet you're excited!!! I remember feeling soooo excited back in April when I was only 5 days away!!!! I'm so excited for you!

Five days, WOW!!!! :goodvibes

I'm with LL, I think I'd like to get lost on that safari right now. Especially if it'll knock me out and help me sleep better! :lmao:

The fun just never stops!!!! :) :) Especially when you get LOST ON SAFARI!!!!! Do you think they would let you ship some of those back here to us?!?!?!?! Wouldn't THAT be wonderful!

:cool1: 5 days :cool1:

What's in the Lost on Safari?

I'll be curious to find out how you like Yak & Yetti.

We are still undecided about trying Everest .... yeah, we are a bunch of chickens. :lmao:

I can't remember from your last TR; have you done Kali River Rapids before? Since it's supposed to still be pretty hot in September, I think I want to try it... just before we leave AK. (I will not be walking around wet all day!) But, I was wondering how soaked I can expect to get. I always see a few people completely drenched when we walk by, but I never know if they tried to get that wet or couldn't avoid it.

In other news, 5 days!!! :thumbsup2

I agree -- I don't mind getting lost on safari when it involves a lot of rum! LOL!

Thanks! Yes, I am definitely feeling the pre-trip excitement!

:rotfl: Oh, yes, you could have a nice nap after a Lost on Safari!

5 days!!!!!

Where has the year gone?!?!

It's flown by, that's for sure!

The fun just never stops!!!! :) :) Especially when you get LOST ON SAFARI!!!!! Do you think they would let you ship some of those back here to us?!?!?!?! Wouldn't THAT be wonderful!

That would be lovely to be able to ship drinks back!!! They could package them in a cool WDW thermos or something. ;)

:cool1: 5 days :cool1:

We ate at Yak and Yeti in 2008 and enjoyed the food. The restaurant had just opened, so I am hoping things are running more smoothly than it did when we were there before.

Connor and I have ridden Everest once -- it wasn't as bad as I feared it would be. The two daredevils in the family (Charles and Chelsea) ride it every chance they get.

Oh, yes, we have ridden Kali quite a few times before in the past, but you can get completely drenched. It all depends on how the raft thing spins. Some rides we have hardly gotten wet at all, and other times we have squished all over the park afterwards. It's lots of fun, though, and we always enjoy it. You should definitely try it at least once.
