1997 - Oscar De La Hoya was awarded a unanimous decision after 12 rounds against Hector Macho Camacho in Las Vegas. This was the second time De La Hoya, unbeaten in 26 bouts, had successfully defended his WBC welterweight boxing title. He earned it, the bruised and battered Camacho said following the loss. He did everything he said he was going to do, except he didnt knock me out.
