I tried to post again last night that I hoped when the alarm went off this am I would rmemeber why. :rotfl: The dis would not load back for me! Glad it wasn't just me!
I did remember and made it just fine. I had to wait about 50 min before she saw me. They did the weight and bp things and I just sat there...she said I was a star patient though! Numbers were going down. Lost 16 lbs since June! :yay: Hopefully, NEVER to be found again! I just can't go there. I don't like to say never but in this case I need to think never.

:cool1::cool1: M&N! You rock! You're doing so well on your new lifestyle....what an inspiration to me! Congrats!

I think the DIS was wacky yesterday after Sukie and Pikester posted pics.

Just kidding! They were great. I think I like Chip and Dale better after I met them on the cruise. I had never seen them before. Someone here told me how to tell them apart and they really like it when you know the difference and can call them by name. They like you to tease with them. I had never been to the POP either so I enjoyed those pics too.

Dis.....tooo sloooooow to post. We were out of power all day yesterday.

To tell Chip from Dale: Chip has a brown nose like a chocolate chip.

Working on ADR..:headache:hating it.
94 days till trip.

:flower3:

I know most of you all don't really follow NASCAR but I have to share---Racetrack came in 2nd last week in our picks. :woohoo: I post them for her so she can finish out the season. She didn't pick her Kyle because she didn't want to jinx him...well he was jinxed anyway! :woohoo: He didn't make it into the top 12! He lost by 8 points. Of course I have to be honest and say my Jr lost by a lot more but that is ok as long as KB didn't make it. You could even feel a little sad for him...he's won the most races so far this year but his other races were not good enough to get him the points. :yay: So those of you who see Racer on facebook can give her a little sympathy---or not!
See D&D, I can still talk smack without her! She can't get back at me either! This is fun!
No not really...you all know how really I feel.

AH Bopsmom...don't hate those ADR's. Just think of the joy all that work will bring! pixiedust:

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?"

The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way. I wrote: 'Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it.' "

Both signs told people that the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people that they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively.

When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear.

The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling¦
And even more beautiful is, knowing that you are the reason behind it!!!

Wow M&N, powerful story!! And so true!

BTW, congrats on losing 16 pounds. I'd be alot happier for you if you hadn't send EVERY DARN ONE OF THEM to ME! Fortunately, I've said goodbye to 3 of them already. I have no pants that fit, only 2 pair of capris, which aren't gonna be much help when it's 65 degrees tomorrow. Guess I'll be living in my gym pants for a few weeks. I went back to the gym yesterday, and today I got myself a brand new personal trainer. I really like her--she's a mom too and even has a 13 yo 8th grader, so we are kindred spirits in that!

Very sad about Patrick Swayze. I LOVED Ghost and Dirty Dancing. He was a really nice guy too.

I saw Kanye West on Jay Leno last night. Now, I have no use for the guy anyway, I don't think he's talented, and ever since his comments about Katrina I have thought he was a total jerk. His actions towards Taylor Swift were unconscionable. But I truly believe his apology on Jay Leno was heartfelt and true. He seemed genuinely sorry (which he should), and made no excuses for himself. I'm more impressed by Beyonce, who showed such kindness to Taylor Swift, and to Taylor herself who was a shining example of grace in a crummy situation.

D&D....try Yapta to track your flights. I got my travel websites mixed up. WHat dates are you looking at?

I actually cheered a little when Jay Leno called Kanye out and asked how his Momma would feel about his actions. He looked truly humbled and bothered last night. I really think he was either drunk or high during the awards show. I'm glad MTV asked him to leave. I do hope he does take time out like he said to really re-evaluate where he is in life.

I wish some of the humble pie would rub off on some of the Disers on here! There has been a lot of snarkiness lately! Hug it out, people!

M&N...that was a beautiful email! I'm going to try to cut and paste it. Its the exact thing that Edward loves so much...he'll enjoy it.

Kitty, nice to offer the coupon but thank heavens my DD has not hit the Junior department just yet. She has hit a growth spurt lately though. I must have not been paying good attention lately. I thought she weighed about 50 pounds but a couple of days ago the scale read 64.8! My little girl is growing up and too fast.
I don't keep up with that MTV stuff much but I did see how rude that Kanye guy was. I felt so sorry for Taylor Swift. On the flip side, I did think Madonna's tribute to MJ was very nice and I liked Janet's song and dance as well. Guess the whole show wasn't a total circus.

D&D, any luck with the airfare dilemma? I glanced online at AA for you and the shortest return flight I saw said it was 14 hours! Talk about taking the long way home! Guess I'm not much help!

Yay! M&N made her doctor's appointment! Yippee for the continuing weight loss!
Very inspiring story. Always good to have a little reminder to be thankful for the life we have.

BKMETV, glad you have had some nice weather. Looks like the rain slacked off today around here. Wonder who gets it next?

Bopsmom, good luck with the ADRs!

Which reminds me.... I almost forgot to mention that I made my last ressie today! I was able to book the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage. Now just gotta sit back and wait 77 more days til our trip.

Hi JOCAmom, Pikester, & whgrn and everyone else!

Evening ladies. I'm a little sad to report that I'm wearing the first flannel nightgown of the season. Its chilly tonight, but not cold enough to turn on the heat. Just a little flannel is all I need with a nice cup of tea.

Its the finale of Big Brother. I'm not thrilled with the choices, but I'd have to vote for Kevin. At least he DID something to get to the final three. Natalie just ran her mouth and rode everyone's coattails. Jordan let Jeff do everything for her.

And with the end of Big Brother....here comes the Amazing Race! Woo-hoo! Its my fave reality show. The first episode is the second night of my vacation....but I'd gladly trade EMH at MK for it! Its also a sweet anniversary...the first date my BF and I had we watched Amazing Race together 4 years ago. If we decide to get married, I think I'll invite Phil Keough to be the officiant!

Spoke to my older nephew tonight. He seems to be doing so much better. Switched his chemistry class and he somehow was asked to TA a class, which will garner him an easy 4 credits!

I've started to document my casino winnings, b/c BF doesn't beleive I'm actually good at it. Its so funny! On Sunday, I stopped by the casino and walked out with $317....I cashed out my voucher and went to the washroom...and took a picture of it! At first, he didnt' believe my routine...I walk the floor looking for a machine that "calls out to me", but now he's convinced I'm magical! My part of the trip is completely paid for thanks to the casino!

Marie, can you tell me more about the cruise? Sounds fun! I just read today about Picnic in the Park at AK....now I"m rethinking my Yak and Yeti ressie...ugh!

Magikitty, maybe I should go to the casino with you so I can pay off my cruise. That's so great about your winnings.

My little one was till pretty stuffy this morning. No fever or anything, thankfully. Gave her some stuffy nose medicine tonight and she is out like a light.

M&N, congrats on the weight loss.

My oldest daughter just came out to ask me her goofy question of the night. :rolleyes1 She wants to know, when you are hanging upside down, are you holding your shirt up or down? :rotfl2:

And the answer was???? :confused3

OH, I didn't give her an answer. I told her that google is there for a reason. LOL

And what would be your answer?

I would have told her to hang upside down. She can then decide for herself if she's holding her shirt up or down! :lmao:

Wow! I'm surprised that Kevin got out of BB! I cannot believe Jordon won the last HOH! She sure picked the perfect time to win. I wish they would get it over with...

I'm watching too! I'm going for Jordan just because I've despised Natalie the entire game...

JOCA....I think your DD is holding her shirt up! But most importantly, tell her she has to do whatever she has to to keep herself covered!

OMG! Didn't anyone teach these girls on BB anything? First, don't cross your legs on television....cross at the ankles. And if you MUST cross at the knees, cross AWAY from the cameras! Their skirts are so short we're going to catch a glimpse of their hoo-ha if they don't watch it!

Magikitty, I wish the answer could be that simple with her. She could argue with herself about why each answer would be correct. I think she does this stuff just to drive me insane.

What was Jordon pulling down? Did she have shorts on or was that her undies? Glad she won...I voted for her.
