Good morning ladies! Sorry I konked out on you last night, JOCA...I got really involved with the short skate last night. I'm glad that Apolo got to medal, but I really wanted him to take gold. I feel bad for the Canadian brothers who got shut out...

Gosh, you guys saw all the great! I would still love to see Rick Springfield. He's a goody.

And Simon and Garfunkle! And the Jackson 5! I feel there's so much I missed.

I would have to say my fave concerts would have to be The Police a few years ago, a realization of an 80s teen fantasy. And also I saw Maroon5 with John Mayer. They put on a great show. Overall, Depeche Mode put on a great show in terms of lights and stage.

But I love live music in general. Our local casino has cover bands on the weekends, and they have a great band that does 70s disco, which is so much fun. Just getting up and dancing and singing is so much fun!

Talking about concerts sure brings back the memories. :goodvibes I've seen Linda Ronstadt, Bette Midler, Neil Diamond, Elton John (twice, once in the Hollywood Bowl). Just not into concerts as they were in Los Angeles when I was young. It was too much trouble to go down there too often. I've seen more now but they are only part of the groups (Beach Boys, The Eagles) or much older. ;)

DL55...I'm totally in a Beach boys obsession right now! I got their greatest love songs cd a few weeks ago and have been stuck between Wouldn't it be nice and God only knows...I think I'm trying to will warm weather to come!

I saw Pink Martini at the Hollywood bowl a few years ago...what a fantastic venue!

I would love to see Neil Diamond and Elton John too...there are just so many songs to sing along to!

You know, I'm not above travelling without him...but I'd like it if he did come around. Let's see how my budget is doing in the next few months...woo-hoo!
:yay: Then we'd have to add a day and meet you at Universal.

MK, you know my TA told me that they are almost positive that they will be doing free dining again....starting with the week D&D and I will be there. :rolleyes1
THat would be sooo :cool2:.

I do have my Sirius radio programmed to the 80's channel though!
:thumbsup2
We got free Sirus radio w/ the van so we have the 70s, 80s and 90s programed.

This makes me hungry for Rainforest Cafe.

All this skiing coverage made me think of Freezy Freaky snowgloves. Do y'all remember them? They would change color when they got cold?
I remember those gloves. So cool!!!!

I have seen so many concerts in my time. Some of my faves are...
Chicago
Lionel Richie
Kool and the Gang
REO
Journey
Def Leopard
Michael W. Smith (totally different crowd but great concert non the less)

I am painting my kitchen this weekend. I posted pics on FB cuz its easier than here. If you all could check it out and give me your opinion I'd appreciate it.

Only painted a small part (back hall) and one wall cuz not sure we like it. Looked good on the swatch and looks good in natural light, but we're not sure otherwise. DH isn't too crazy about it and wants to go more beige. I think its okay and really accents the wood cabinets/doors.
I hate picking paint. I know what I want but never seem to pick the right shade.

Ooh! I can't forget my Flip brother Arnel Pineda and Journey...I saw them with Heart and Cheap Trick. Heart was amazing too...

Ok, so what's the most embarassing concert we've gone to? I must say it was the Spice Girls a few years ago...my friend was nuts for their "reunion" tour and bought tix for both my sister and I. He also bought tix for their Las Vegas show that he didn't go to! The entire concert were high school girls who loved the Spice when they were in kindergarten and their parents (who I guess were my age???). But we knew a little too many of the songs and really had a good time!

I'm heading over to FB D&D....

but its just paint! Live with the color for a while and if you don't like it, go back and do it over again! You shouldn't force yourself to like a color that you don't. Let it grow on you and see what you think come morning...

Ok, so I checked out the pics. I like the color, but it looks more neutral on FB....it looks good btw!

I'm not stressing over it actually. Just want to either finish painting the entire kitchen or go one shade lighter and repaint what I have done.
Would like it done before DS7's First Communion in April.

If you remember what Shamrock Shakes looked like (light green color) that is what it looks like on my walls. Was thinking maybe just a hint lighter and bring out more accent colors on wall decor.

Ooh, shamrock shakes is a great color! It didn't look that green on the photo..but I like it!

Only problem is it looks like Shamrock Shakes in natural light and then more yellowy in lightbulb light.

Thanks for your opinion Kitty!

Hey all just a quick hi, dad in hospital, hubby and baby sick and I'm so tired I want to fall over. Hope to be back soon!

Hey LITC! You go take a rest now...hugs to you and everyone! We're thinking of you!

MK, I don't think there is a concert that I'm embarrassed about. But I think 2 of my other very favorites were Rascal Flatts and Brad Paisley. They were both very, very good about interacting with the audience.

D&D, I like the color very much. How much yellow tint is showing up with the light?

I'm not sure if its the lightbulbs or me. Looks more neonish in the artificial light.
I was hoping for the color in the top half of that camper in your Hershey ticker. Just a hint of green to bring color to the room and make the woodwork pop out.
