Transferring SW Points between spouses

If I want to transfer points from my SWRR account to spouse is there always a fee?

Instead of transferring points, my husband just buys the ticket with his point in my name.

Yes, you have to pay a fee to transfer points between accounts regardless of account holder relationships.
