Morning ladies....sorry I konked out on you last night. I've been up late finishing a book, The Lace Reader, and I was so tired yesterday. The book was finished last night. I'm not sure I liked it, but then again, I haven't had much luck with the Oprah book choices. The only one I really liked was The Poisonwood Bible. The others I've read, while entertaining, weren't earth shattering. That being said, the book the Pillars of the Earth has been made into a mini-series that I'm interested in watching. I liked the book well enough.

Its going to be errand day today. Have to get gas, go to the post office, bank and pharmacy. Haven't convinced myself to do it anytime soon.

I'm still working on the flat of blueberries that was on sale last week. Isn't it funny how a single sour berry can completely turn you off the rest of the pint? I may make blueberry pancakes. Again, if I can shake off the lazy.

Liv, I haven't been in a water balloon fight in ages! Sounds like a lot of fun. I don't know anything about racing, but it seems that a lot of people like it. I hope the guy you're rooting for does well and is a nice guy.

Good Morning,

I am so excited for our friends who finally are traveling to China to pick up their baby girl today . They've waited 4 years for baby #2 and have been on this infertility journey with us for some time now. It is just so wonderful for them to finally get to meet their daughter and bring her home. Their oldest daughter is as old as my DS8 and they brought her home from China 7 years ago. Its making me really want to go back down the adoption road again. Just can't wait 4 years this time.

Kitty - sorry that your pint of blueberries were sour. They can be so delicious and sweet. the darker the berry the better. I have a few on my bushes that made it through the tornado and they are just starting to turn blue. I think I'll wait a while before picking.
