Ok, that made me laugh out loud!

Miss Piggy is back from the hospital. She's all better and pretty. She must have had a good time...she came back in her underwear and her clothes in a baggy. Now that's the sign of a great party!

My latest home study is for bras and undies! I received a set of Barely There in black. They look so comfy! Mr. Mailman also brought my trashy magazines....its a good day all around.

 :rotfl2:
"Barely There", I can tell just by the title they would be of little use to me. ;)

No! Its a real woman's panty. A full-on brief. And the bra is really stretchy and comfy. Its supposed to be super comfy and close to the skin. Think like sports bras. I guess its barely there to annoy you.

And I've met you now, DL55...I know you're the racy kind!

Aside from the fact that I'm "womanly" right now, I've gotten totally addicted to M&N's pretzels with ranch dressing. Its all I want all the time. BF is tired of listening to me crunch all the time. But boy does it make me happy.

We talked about his mother issue. I just feel like his mother should have talked to me just a little bit. Its kinda embarrassing to be there in front of the entire family and not be spoken to. I understand that she's not the greatest mother in the world, but it almost seems like she's got something against us or really doesn't care. He's actually pretty miffed about it, I'm the first girl he's introduced to everyone. For him, its like, how could you not try a little harder? He thinks its more of reflection that she doesn't care very much about him.

On the flip side, no insane MIL to deal with, I guess. No tug of war between families on holidays. My family really only celebrates Christmas and Easter, with an occassional New Years thrown in there. His family can get Thanksgiving, July 4th, Labor Day, all the rest....

You're right. Can't control family. I like your holiday arrangement.

While I'm rambling...does anyone understand the so-called spy ring that just happened? We traded ten people for three? Who are any of them? What are othey spying about? I thought we were friends with Russia? And why aren't we more mad that they're spying on us?
These are leftover "cold war" spies as I understand it. Why they're still spying I don't know. :confused3 I think you just can't trust Putin. He thinks communism is still alive.

Did you have a talk w/ that little piggy before she left?

:lmao: I have yet to find a bra and pants that I really like.

Oh and love how M&N used the opportunity to run up her numbers!!!:rotfl:

Oh now this is my field of expertise...the spying still goes on it just is a lot more industrial & technical info. Industrial espionage is huge.

No one wants to fall behind in the military advantage either. As long as everyone has the same big bombs that can wipe out civilization then everyone is happy. :sad2:

There are always spies working out of embassies/consulates. Whenever a country proves someone is a spy they are declared "persona non grata" and are sent home...in "retaliation" the other country will send home those deemed spies in their country. It's all a big game. You throw out our spies and we'll throw out yours.

I mentioned Michigan to DH. He said he love to go but figures since we've already had 2 vacations this year it might not be feasible...I'll keep working on it. Where are you planning to stay?

Everyone abadon me on FB so I'm here looking for green lights.

Evening all:

Tell him we're a lot of fun! Keep working on it.
DH said if we all had passports we'd hop the boarder since we'll be so close. Would love to party w/ Team Canada - and we could use the extra bodies to help save seats in the General Admission secion.

LITC - Almost didn't recognize you with the new avatar. Cute!

Awww sorry about that! Walter has recently become interested in a singing kermit collectible that we have, so when I saw this, I couldn;t resist!

Good morning ladies! Its overcast here, and although they're saying it'll be another warm one, right now its cool and breezy. Thank goodness!

So I was texting Quincy yesterday about Miss Piggy's hospital bills and he said he hadn't heard anything. So I emailed the repair lady asking about it and she said there was no charge! Nothing for the service or the shipping. I was so happy!

LITC....Walter is showing some excellent taste in pop culture. Like the Muppets already!

ABC Family is having Harry Potter weekend. Watching them grow up on film is so funny. They've been showing clips of the next movies coming, and they look great. I feel like I have to read the books over again, relive the magic. Maybe in a few weeks, after I locate them all....

hope everyone is having a good weekend!

I just remembered....I forgot to say Thanks Ev! for the spy info. Now, I have to ask....why are you so knowledgeable about spy networking? Is there something we should know? Or maybe we're not allowed to know....you've been quite full of surprises lately!

Don't ask..If she tells you she'll have to kill you. :lmao:

I also forgot to say congrats to D&DDisney for her 5,000 posts. I can't imagine ever getting that many. :guilty:

Evening! So much going on here and I feel lost. Let's see what I can remember.

D&D, congrats on 5000. I know I'll never get there. :rolleyes1

DL55, welcome back. Do you have any pictures from your trip?

LITC, I forgot to vote yesterday but I got it in today.

MK, glad Miss Piggy is going to be all fixed up and for free. How wonderful is that?

Ev, thank for the info about what is going on with the spy thing. I've been reading along on line but really had no idea what was going on.

I was going to use my pat answer but DL beat me to it.

Ev, thank for the info about what is going on with the spy thing. I've been reading along on line but really had no idea what was going on. And tell DH it wouldn't really be a real vacation to see the race. It's only a little weekend excursion. Tickets are only $25 for adults and kids under 12 get in free. Plus you already had to get your passports....might as well get as much use out of them as you can.

Both kids are under 12 and we have friends that are always bugging us to come visit...they live in Saline which is just down the road from the track. I don't see an issue. Anyways we have been chatting about doing another RV trip maybe the east coast next summer and then out of the blue this morning he brings up "maybe we should go to Scotland instead"???? Where the heck did that come from??? MEN???

Ev, that sounds like a win-win situation all around. How far is the drive for you?

Selfishly, I would say visit the East Coast. We do have Hot Tamales here in every store. But Scotland sounds so awesome. I would love to go there one day before the kids are grown.

MK, I forgot to tell you....Jackie scored big time in one of her favorite stores when we went to the mall this afternoon. She got 2 pairs of jeans for $5.00 total. They were marked down to $5.00 and she got another 50% off the tag price. :woohoo: As soon as she came out to tell me how much she paid, I thought of you.

Good morning ladies! Its going to be another hot one today. It really stormed last night. So much that my DirecTv went out...ugh. I was unable to finish the third Harry Potter!

JO--please tell Jackie she rocks! She scored an amazing deal and should be so proud of herself. She's learning great skills for adulthood.

Sounds like the Michigan trip is really shaping up! Ev, don't mean to play devil's advocate here...but you should totally go. Like JO said, you know, to try the passports out. Its a great opportunity to have a great time and visit.

oh, and if you do go to Scotland, let me know what deals you find. As I've said, I've a girlfriend who lives in Edinburgh and I've yet to visit, but frankly, the cheapie in me doesn't know how to go about it. Was thinking maybe trading in my timeshare for a week, but since BF refuses to get a passport, it would be a waste...

Is it me or is it crazy that its the back to school sales already? My local paper had a pull-out section on this years high school graduations....and it was countered by Staples back to school specials (which I totally check out. I love pencils!) I like to pick up the penny sales and donate it to the local school. The teachers really appreciate the extra supplies.

Yesterday's special. I had ordered a crazy cheap toaster from Sears online. I kinda already knew it was a price mistake, but in case it wasn't, I ordered anyway. So yes, I got the cancellation email, but in apology, they sent a $10 gift card. That's awesome. I really love Lands End shoes and when they go on clearance for 70% off with an additional 50% on top, I'm sure to score at least two pairs for super cheap!

Ok World Cup finals this afternoon: Spain versus Netherlands. I'm rooting for Spain, and this is entirely based on how attractive I find the players. Regardless, its going to be good!

oh, and great sadness. My husband John Krasinski of Office fame got married to Emily Blunt. She's ok, but I'd really hoped we would run into each other and he would fall madly in love with me. I guess I can cross him off the list now too....congrats and much happiness to them, I guess.

Well, technically I'm still on the market. Until BF makes an honest woman out of me, I can still keep my options open!

MagiKitty Your BF should "accidentally" see your previous post. :rolleyes1 Our storms are usually short so the satellite doesn't go out for too long.

If I didn't know better I would think I was back east. The humidity is really high but the clouds aren't cooperating. It did rain sometime early in the am.

Talked to my mom this am. She went to DLR with my sister and family. She fell down on the way to pick up the EMV rental at the park. She said the CMs were there really quick but they had trouble with people trying to walk though the area as they were trying to get her on her feet.. :scared: She was with my niece while the others were getting fastpasses. She didn't want to go to the ER until my sister arrived. Apparently the look on my sister's face was enough. After spending the am in the ER, she had nothing but abrasions and bruising. She went back to the parks. Now her face is all bruised, she doesn't clot very quickly (meds), so she staying in her room at home. She now has a Spash Mt photo of her with her black eye.
