Timekeeper closes for good

I have not been to wdw in 20 years and I have missed so much. Now I have this to add to the list. :guilty:

Well, I suspected the day was coming, but still it's sad. I really enjoyed Timekeeper. DD8 is too young to remember it, but she's a history buff and would have loved it.

If it's open next week, I'm gonna try and see it for the first time ever.

It was only open over Christmas other than that its always closed. I doubt it will be be open its closed this week.

Oh, no...I'm so sad! I knew the day would come eventually, though. I love the Timekeeper...what a cool show! Timekeeper, rest in peace.

Well, If it wasn't going to open next week then it would be safe to say it was already closed for good.

I will miss this one very much...It was a great thrill that DH and I got to see it once...It was a good one. :sad2:

Ditto Here for Timekeeper....

great ride.....

funny they close timekeeper but the Stitch (old alien attraction) stays open :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

what's wrong with this picture?

As much as I'd like to see Timekeeper stay, there's not much point in having a ride if you aren't ever going to have the ride open. Let's hope they replace it with something they actually let people see every now and then.

I agree, salmoneous!

We loved this attraction when it first opened. Our kids got an opportunity to see it one time and loved it! In fact, they still talk about it as well as the Carousel of Progress.

You don't mean Carousel of Progress is closed too, do you?????? <please oh please say you don't>

Carousel of Progress was open when I was there in early FEB 2006. I think there have been rumors floating for a while about possibly closing it down, though...

This has only been open once in the past 3 visits - we were all set to go in when the son of the family we were with freaked and said he didn't want to go. We left and said we'd go back another time but it has never been open since.

Feb. 26, 2006. It hasn't been announced what is going in that space.

DD and I need to catch that before it closes. We have yet to see it in the 2 1/2 years that we have lived here, and too many visits to MK to count! Maybe it will be open on Saturday - we are going to O'Hana's for my birthday breakfast!

Since they have had characters in there recently for pictures, I will guess that this may be the norm for a while. It is a large enough area that they can get several characters in there and still have lots of room for people. It can help on the congestion elsewhere in Tomorrowland.
