TigerCheer2009's Lose 30 and Not Gain It Back Plan! (Add comments please!! Welcome!)

Thanks MayButterfly. I appreciate the positive words. Thanks for reminding me that tomorrow is a new day. In the big ol' scheme of things, I forgot.

Hello all! I'm making my Workout WISH List of things we should have because my mother wants to lose weight. Maybe if we get our hands on these things, she will want to work out more. She had breast cancer in October 04 and the doctor said Mom wouldn't have to be on Tamoxifin if she walked/exercised 30 minutes 5 days a week. That went kaput.

Here goes:

She absolutely wouldn't let me get Carmen Electra's Stripaerobics. It looked like fun and I wouldn't strip strip. All in fun, really.

If you can think of anything else that might be a good workout/workout accessory, let me know.

Looks like you have a great exercise wish list going. My Cardio Salsa says that it has Latin dance moves in it, so I will let you know how that goes.

BTW, I am hoping that the ONEDERLAND party is in the next few days! Everyone is invited, so bring your dancing shoes, some healthy snacks and BYOW (bring your own water :rotfl2: ).

Have a great day! ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

What are you going to wear? A dress? Jeans? Can't wait to see it. And you mean we can't mooch off of your healthy snacks? Oh well. What's your theme foodwise? Mexican? Seafood? Just Desserts? Potluck maybe? Tell me that and I will bring something :cool1: !

Thanks. Do tell me how the salsa cardio goes. And also the Goddess workout.

Have a great day too!

Plans: My kittycats' birthday (we have two brother kitties) are tomorrow, we have to go grocery shopping and clothes shopping, and I have to get to the library sometime.

My cheerleading skirt: I tried it on today and it was WAY too loose. Zipped and buttoned, I can slip in and out of it with ease. Problem: Yes. Nothing some needles and thread can't fix!

Awesome, aren't those good problems to have? I'm pretty much down a belt loop, wife bought me new jeans for father's day, they're getting quite loose.
Go Tiger, go Tiger! :smooth:
Happy 4th!!!
:bday: America!!!

Hi all! Hi Don! It's an awesome problem to have. I'm just glad it's my skirt and not the other girl's. Congrats on your part! Thanks for popping in!

Happy 4th America!

Hi Jen!

That is awesome that you need to take in your cheer skirt, accomplishments like that keep us going!

In your last entry you mentioned the name of one of my weight loss nemesis... PANERA!!! Oh my! I could live there, or I used to! hehe <visions of swimming in a pool of the Broccoli Cheddar soup, relaxing on raft sized portions of the tomato-basil bread and asiago cheese bread...> LOL I know I will be able to eat there when I know I can control what I am eating better, right now I would not be able to make it through. hehe But anyway, doesn't Panera rock?? :goodvibes

Hope that you are having an excellent weekend!
Mike :flower:

Why thank you Mike! Welcome to my journal! It's my nemesis too, but if I know I'm going there, then I "save up" to enjoy! It's the rockingist restaurant ever!!!! I love it! I live on the broccoli cheddar soup and bread. I'm a carbaholic! I can control it but I like to know exactly how much I'm eating! Okay...it's official...I am in :love: with a restaurant!

Thanks for popping in! And the cheerleading skirt was my first major accomplishment, too! Yay!

ETA: Panera will probably be a NO-Go tonight. :( :( The guys came home and botched our schedule.

Snack: 12 tortilla chips (3), salsa (0)

Dinner will be as follows:

1 piece cheese pizza (2)
1 piece pepperoni pizza (2)
2 big breadstix (2)
8 ounces 2% milk (2)

And I'm out!

Exercise: 6 minutes of The FIRM 5-day Abs.

Good morning, troops! General Jen speaking. Very good on the scale front. Just doing a test run before the skirt gets to be taken in. Instead of the 180 pictured at 0800 yesterday, we now have "176" but in real terms we have 173! Lost it all, plus an extra!

Today's formation: Room check, "vespers" (church), invade grocery store in search for militant barbecue items and take them home for further interrogation (grocery shop), meet w/ Cookie in the kitchen to discuss interrogation (cook), press conference (big fourth of july party with aunts and uncles and assorted family who aren't the brightest folks) at rural location, base training (getting my exercise in), and college work (finishing my college prep english stuff) but I must get the books in the library. :rotfl:

Nice days all around you hear? Or face the consequences. Drop and give me twenty! (just kidding)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Breakfast: ham, cheese and scrambled eggy (3), 2 slices toast (just over 1 point!), butter. Some fool left the milk out over night :sad2: so General Jen cannot have her cereal. Dirty rotten scoundrels!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
General Jen reporting over and out!

I like your positive attitude. Your drill sargent post is great. My oldest dd is currently in San Antonio Texas of officer basic training which makes it even funnier.

Good luck with your shopping and the party with your relatives. Keep focused and you will will suceed in all you attempt.

Have a great holiday

Hello, Lieutenant Kathy! Thanks for posting in this journal right here. It makes me feel honored! Please tell your daughter I said thank you and that all soldiers make me proud to be an American.

Thanks for the positive postings!!!!! :goodvibes Do you have a journal? if you do, General Jen will make an appearance, ma'am YES ma'am!

Good day, soldiers! No wild parties (unless I am invited, but still, no drinking of the carbonated beverages and no extreme bungee jumping...you all heard me. And if you're on your best behavior, maybe we can do sparklers tomorrow. Attention! At eease, soldiers!) and make this day the best one you can!

I'm out!

Jen,
Thanks so much for those kind words! It's amazing what positive thinking can do for you, isn't it?
Oh, I remember the days of VBS as a kid! My sister and I always had a great time and our church always planned exciting activities. Good for you for teaching those kids! Those young ones sure can be a handful! ;)
Keep working hard! :)

Lisa

Thank you Lisa! :cool1:

After church today, one woman came up to me and said "****** had a blast at bible school with you. She loved looking forward to having you come to class. Thank you." I felt very important. If I can make a difference in someone's life, then that makes everything worth it.

Is that what it feels like to be a teacher?

And the kids preached today. They read Bible verses, and talked about the words of the day, how they can be more like Jesus, and what each tool represented (construction zone; humble=screwdriver, obedient=hammer, faithful=tape measure, caring=pliers, forgiving=saw). Lots of fun, many laughs, good singing.

I will be off to the grocery store soon. We WILL be taking prisoners and interrogating them, seeing what their true potential is. :smooth:

Hi Jen,

Up & posting at 7:51am on a Sunday with all of that to get done? You truly are General Jen!! Leading the battle!! :)

When you say "Lost it all, plus an extra!" does that mean you have hit your goal? If so, big congratulations, heck congratulations anyway! Great job!

I hope that the "press conference" goes well, I have one of those later myself. And as soon as you find the scoundrels who left the milk out, throw em in the brig and court martial 'em! hehehe

Continue to have a great day! Oh, and thanks for stopping my journal too! :flower:

Mike

Hi Mike! I gained over the week (about 5) and beat butt exercise wise to lose it, plus an extra surprise pound! I confuse myself every once in awhile. Sorry about that! Enjoy that saying. Credit where credit is due but use all you want. That's pretty much kept me away from soda.

Press conference went well. Met up with all of the folks, pretended to enjoy conversation while focusing on the real goal: go-karting!

Lunch: chicken quesadilla (10), apple (1), Diet Coke. Lots of tempting treats but ONE PASS at the buffet line!!!!! Yeah!

Dinner will be: spaghetti and meatballs (8), peach cake (one small slice=2)

26 points used today...4 AP's saved and used.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Must get the troops off and ready for dinner! Bye!
Just popping in before festivities today. Today is my splurge day-by and wise!
We are gonna be having: hot dogs and buns (I could not slip in a package of whole-wheat...what is wrong with these people? I would've gotten white anyway!), hamburgers, smores, tortilla chips/salsa, fresh fruit, brownies, Punky Cake (!). I'll probably have a hotdog (4), a hamburger (2), 12 tortilla chips (3), salsa (0), and fresh fruit(3, we've got apples, peaches, pears, and strawberries). 12...not too bad.
Dinner will be another press conference at some good friends' house. I plan on making exercise swimming. They are having pork chops, baked potatoes and baked beans. Do you think Mom will let me sneak some hot dogs in?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
B: slice Punky Cake (5), 1/2 an apple (.5), 12 tortilla chips and salsa (3)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
TOM will be making an appearance sometime soon. I can feel him coming to wreak havoc because I was really snappy and arguey yesterday. Great! Miss cheerleading camp and band camp, why don'tcha? PLEASE!
Sorry for all you guys though...not used to having guys in my journal. :rolleyes:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bye!

Have a great time today. Enjoy yourself and remember always to smile. Happy 4th of july to you and your family. :flower:

Thanks for popping in Kardiebelle. You too alright?

L: 1/4 cup macaroni and cheese **, 2 hotdogs and buns, strawberries and peaches.

The macaroni didn't taste as good as it used to.

Hi! I'm feeling REALLY snacky right now!

Snack: peach slices (fresh), strawberries, 1/2 apple, 15 Tostitos w/ salsa
