TigerCheer2009's Lose 30 and Not Gain It Back Plan! (Add comments please!! Welcome!)

Hi Jen!

Sounds like you are having a great day and dealing well with any BBQ temptations! Thanks for replying to my last question about your weight loss, I suppose I could have learned that myself if I had read back a day or two in your journal, guess ihave started catching up from the wrong end! hehe

You said:
"The macaroni didn't taste as good as it used to."

Oh boy do I wish that this would be true for me when I attempt pasta again!! hehe

Have a great healthy day!!!
Mike

p.s. Don't mind my being around for the TOM talk, I work in an 8 person department and I am the only man. I have heard more than my share and have survived just fine! :flower:

Mike: Thank you!!!! It was okay, the BBQ. And good to know. I just didn't wanna gross you out or anything. You poor thing.

I really flurpled up yesterday (translation: nightmare on Jen Street!) Okay. I did NOT follow my plan yesterday.

D: 1 pork chop, 1 baked potato, 1 spoonful cheesy dip, 3 chips, 1 "splop" baked corn, Diet Coke
Second pass at buffet: 1 hot dog, 1 splop (spoonful) baked corn, 2 slices Punky Cake, 3 carrots

What a learning experience that was. :teacher: So what did I learn? At a buffet, one pass. Then get the heck out of there!

No exercise whatsoever.

And also we were shooting off fireworks and my brother got something in his eye and had to go to the hospital. :guilty:

Good morning! What is today? A: A brand new day! How are we gonna make it? A: Healthy, full of exercise and lotsa water! So let's get to it!

My plan for today:
Find some good workout exercises on line.
Make healthier choices today.
Babysit for the evil brats who tied me in a chair and locked me in a camper.
Library.
Remember that losing weight is not a race. Everybody has bad days. What matters on those bad days is the direction you're moving in. And my bad days certainly aren't as bad as they were before.
Snacks/esp. chippies, cake, cookies etc.: All in moderation
Thank heavens for little victories. Those add up to big ones.

Let's

Hi, Jen! Great job on the positive attitude! I love your plan for today. I know you go to the library pretty often. Do you LOVE to read? What's your favorite genre?

Hey, if you find some great workout exercises, can you post the website? I HAVE to find some exercises for the underside of my arms. Let me know if you see anything like that, okay?

Thank you for all your positive, upbeat attitude here! I love coming here for a Jen-fix to get a smile!

Have a great day! Think about how awesome you are going to look in your cheerleading uniform this fall! All your hard work is for a great purpose! Now, if you could just motivate my DDalmost17 to some physical activity, it would be much appreciated! I'll have to send her a link to your journal. You'd be a great influence on her!

Thanks for popping in, Cam! I swear I felt like I was losing momentum and slowly going back to the place I left (bad place...please don't take me there, Officer! I swear I'll be good!).

I do love to read!!! I bounce between genres but I mostly find myself among mysteries, detective stories (like CSI) and "people-stories"...stories about things that can actually happen to you but are highly unlikely. I also like reading those darned teen angst books because I like knowing how people deal with things so I can deal with things BETTER.

Thank you Cam!!!! You make me feel ready to get moving again! Thank you for catching me before I fell back to the bad place. Oh and I'd be honored if you gave her the link to my journal! :goodvibes Make sure she posts too because I might just have to hug her because my dear friend Twinkles has been AWOL. Also: make the exercise fun and a little challenging. Like I do extreme hopscotch and I'm proud of it. Extreme four-square, maybe. Try something out as a whole family...like rock climbing! Or just make it mother daughter and take a dancing class or yoga maybe. **I actually had to resort to boring exercise videos like 50 Bazillion Hour Ab Workout that Might Work! Never again! Pass the FIRM and the Salsa Dancing, please!**

If I find any good links, I will let you know!

B: ham sandwich (4)

Exercise: 6 minutes of hard ab work. Hardest work I've ever done. V. worth it!

Hey Dont give up. Remember that each day is a new day. Just because one day is bad make it up the next day. Much good vibes to you today. :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

kardiebelle

Thanks kardiebelle! I appreciate it.

L: ham sammie (3, lean ham), apple (1), Punky Cake Square (5)

Great job Jen!!!
You have identified where you went off track at the buffet and learned from it! and you're right back into your exercise. I think it is very strong of you to avoid the "derailing" many of us experience after one "bad" day. That is awesome! Keep up your great work! And remember, there's always a good day just waiting to happen after even the worst days! :flower:

Mike

Thanks Mike! You keep me going and I appreciate it!

Punky Cake: very rich dessert...a mix between pumpkin pie, cheesecake and yellow cake. Best served cold and with Cool Whip Lite. And you have to eat it with your fingers!!! Yum. This is not a dessert for the calorie counter...2 sticks of butter and four eggies. :earseek:

Gotta go get ready for my babysitting job with the brat kids. Fun. :rolleyes: And also it is raining. Even more fun. :rolleyes:

I miss your posts too!

Thanks! Huggies 2 U 2!

Tigercheer, I've loved reading about your vbs experience. You have so much patience. When I was a teenager I volunteered to help my friend at vbs and wished that I hadn't. I just wasn't cut out for it. You did an awesome job keeping up with those kids all week. Also, thanks for the link on my food journal - have a great week! :cool1:

Hi! Hi Jane E! I can't remember if you were ever here or not, but Welcome anyway!!

Thank you! :teeth: It was fun. But I want to hug whoever created stickers. Those saved my sanity! I made this program where whenever you did something nice (like holding the door open), you got a big sticker and whoever did that the most got a prize at the end of the week. They all did...there's no room for whining and crying at Bible School!

Enjoy! ;)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just did a roughly 21 minute FIRM workout: Standing Legs. That beat my butt! Whoo! 2 AP's for that.
No library today...not enough time between DIS and life. Besides, tomorrow I'm volunteering with the programs.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
9 points left! 2 aps makes it 11! I'm drinking my water as we speak. Also had 24 ounces this AM.
Bye!!! :wave2:

Whew!! You've had a busy few days! Good for you for identifying the downfall of the buffet and dealing with it. Also, congrats and loss plus 1! Enjoy your exercising and volunteer work and have an awesome week!

Hi Shauna! Glad you're back....missed you! Thanks...you too.

Don-Yeah! I do have the eye of the tigger...but he can keep it. I've got my own two. Thanks!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thanks, all. I just finished my first of three book reports. I think I wanna exercise....NOW! Probably bike riding.
Snack: 15 Tostitos baked (3), salsa (0), apple (1)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bye!

TWINKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're Back! :hug: Missed ya! And yay for exercise.

Speaking of which....15 minutes tennis, 15 minutes biking. I HAD to leave. The house was getting full with annoying kids. Thanks for popping in!
