Tiger admits to "transgressions"

If I was her I wouldn't want him back

Me either. If the rumors are true (and who knows if they are) I wouldn't want to be married to someone who put my health at risk by being with at least 3 different women. I've never been the type of person to say I would never do something as I feel you have to be in their shoes first and in that particular relationship but it would be very hard for me to forgive someone who betrayed me with multiple people/times even with therapy. I do wish her the best whatever she decides is best for her and her family.

And isn't a moral or value forgiveness? He didn't cheat on you, he didn't hurt your children, he hurt his wife, he hurt his children and he is going to have to face the punishment of that, he is going to have to man up to them. He doesn't owe the public one thing. He doesn't have to apologize to the public because the public is not a bigger part of his life as his family and wife.

I completely agree with this.

Good grief. He isn't anyone's husband but Elin's. Let her decide what she wants to do with him. He's not my dad, or yours (at least not that I am aware. Oh, bad. Sorry) so he doesn't have to apologize to me or you.

He's a nice guy. He screwed up. Oh, well. It changes absolutely nothing in my life.

Do you really think people don't care about this story, There are lots and lots of people who do care about this story, or it would have went away. Heck there are 5 or 6 post on the Dis board alone just today.

I think the only people who care about stores like these lead such boring and unfulfilling lives that they have to latch on the the private matters of strangers to get some excitement. It speaks more about the audience than the press because they are only supplying the drivel for a willing audience. Just like drug dealers catering to the dregs of society so do the tabloids.

Just my opinion of course. I do enjoy reading through these threads to see who gets so invested in the lives of people who don't know they exist.

I might get points for this.

I find this funny people come on here and say It's no one business what Tiger does.

However this same people that don't worry about what Tiger does, Are so worried about everyone else is saying and thinking about him, Double standard

Wow do you realize how many people just offend:sad2:

He will probably have to make peace with them before apologizing to the public who in one second can raise a man to high standards, praise him but when he makes a mistake, can rip away his wings and kick him to the ground. His job isn't to teach morals or values, his job is to wack a ball with a stick and make the ball go into a hole. That is it.

Exactly.

I think that with this topic, it could have been anyone in the public eye who messed up, Tiger, Jessica Simpson, Bugs Bunny, whomever. However, it is easy to say with so many "entertainment" shows such as TMZ, Extra and Insider (to name a few) it seems that there seems to be too much interest in the affairs of celebrities and when will enough finally be enough? When can people in the public eye finally have their privacy respected?

You do seem to take all this rather seriously. As fired up as you are, you'd think Tiger cheated on you.

I think that is FD's point.

agree with everything you just said!

People should really think about what is in their signatures before they post. I'm just saying.

It really is people business If he is always saying what a family man he is and how high is morals and standards are. When something like this comes out

:thumbsup2

I love it how when celebraties are living in the lime light and basking in the fans adoration (whether right or wrong) then they love the public but the nanosecond they screw up and the imagine that they use to make a ton of money is in danger, then all of a sudden the media is the evil empire and every body should leave him alone.

Gimme a break.

You know what I want to see, I want to see the media coverage of the wife throwing the husbands crap outta the bedroom window after his "transgression"

I doubt she'll leave, she's still young and impressionable. ;)

Don't know if I admire that or feel sad for her. 2 other women are already out in the media claiming to also have transgressions with Mr. Woods.

"…there is an important and deep principle at stake which is the right to some simple, human measure of privacy…

…I have given this a lot of reflection and thought and I believe that there is a point at which I must stick to that principle even though it's difficult."

I just have to laugh at these two lines of Tiger's. All this talk about principles. Too bad he didn't feel so strongly about his marriage vows as he does privacy from the media.

Also I think people who accept the money and special treatment of celebrity must also accept the other side of the coin which is the media scrutiny that goes with it.
