Ticket Prices Going Up 2/12/17 ~ New Pricing Page 8>>>

Wow so in addition to the increase online, there's another $20 increase you would have to pay on top of that to purchase at the gate? That's a humongous increase for people who buy at the gate.

These don't match what I'm seeing online though.

3 day hoppers for 2 adults and 1 child are $1029 on WDW's site.

WDW Magic lists the prices as $393/adult $374/child, which would make the price $1160. Even assuming the WDW Magic prices don't include the $20 discount it's still $70 more than what I'm seeing on WDW's site.

Has WDW's website perhaps not updated with new prices?
Add sales tax to the Disney site's prices. Magic's prices include tax.

Sorry didn't go through the whole thread, but were you having trouble with the Canadian resident discount? I bought yesterday before the discount and the prices seemed to jump for our friends after midnight. I think it was a glitch where the discount wasn't applied to the new pricing structure. It was fixed on mobile last time I checked and the prices appeared the same.

I checked my particular ticket purchase out a little while ago on the Canadian discount offer. Aside from the first use Dec 31, 2017 line (which is a theoretical error they are working on) my prices were the same as what I paid for tickets a few weeks ago. I don't see any price increase on the Canadian offer either.

Is there still a link for UCT newsletter subscribers that saves a few dollars per ticket? Cause I don't see it.

No change yet on the Canadian tickets online. We bought yesterday just in case. My cousin works at CAA and she said she heard their price would raise Monday as they are not open on Sundays.

So frustrating... my husband called and bought me an AP earlier in the month. The CM got confused sold him a gold pass (we are not DVC or Florida residents). I realized the problem right away and called. I was told I would have to upgrade to platinum in person when I go to activate the AP. No problem I expected to have to pay $798 anyways. But now I'm going to have to pay an extra $20-30 because of an increase? I get that it's only $20-30 more but its more i wouldn't have had to pay if the CM hadn't sold him the wrong pass.

There is a link, for newsletter subscribers. We can't post the link on the boards.
Ok I see the problem. It's another newsletter link to UCT. That's probably why I can never find it. I always forget!

I would explain all of that and they will probably take care of you. If there's one thing Disney does well it's customer service.

Agreed.
Nicely explain things just that way to Guest Relations at WDW.

I got an email from UCT last night about the price increase with a link. If you subcribe to their newsletter you should have got it too. As of 15 minutes ago it was working and they still had the tickets I needed, at the old price.:thumbsup2 Eta....the link is towards the bottom, right before info on Calif/DL tickets.

You got an email from UCT, or an email from Mousesavers?

I have a ticket question for you guys. I bought 5 years worth of tickets last year before that price increase and just have them sitting in my safe. Would I be better adding them to my mydisneyexperience.com account or are they fine just sitting there. I feel like they are fine in the safe, but I do worry about unscrupulous people trying to "hack" them. I bought a $500 Hyatt gift card a few years ago and when I went to use it 6 months later it was drained and had a $0 balance. I'm not sure how common it is for a Disney ticket to get hacked, but it might be 5 or 10 years until we use them....with no recourse at that point. If I add them, do they just "sit there" inactive in MDE until I assign them? I'm currently on an annual pass and would hate to find out I accidentally activated a 5-day hopper when I'm on an AP. Thanks for the thoughts!

I think they mean Mousesavers. I didn't have the last newletter so I just went ahead and ordered my tickets. I think I only used the link once in all these years because I always forget how to do it. I paid the dumb tax today.

Thought you needed to call DVC. Line and have a DVC membership??

In addition, I would call today and get it noted on your account that you were told in order to fix their mistake you had to do it at the gate and now you see the price went up and you dont fell you should have to pay it.
It can't hurt for when you are there at a later date
