Hi.
Although I have purchased my PAP with the DVC discount this week, my mom needs to purchase a regular AP, prior to our September trip.
Is there any reason why I should purchase now instead of closer to the trip?
Does anyone know or have they heard rumors that prices (AP prices in particular) will be going up before September? Are there even any "deals" on purchasing a PAP or AP (with the exception of the DVC discount that ends today). She is not a DVC owner.
Thank you.

The last ticket price adjustment was in February 2014.

Thanks. So perhaps there won't be another one before September.
Is it usually once a year? Thanks.

The one before that was June 2013... only 8 months later. For the past few years the increases have been in the summer, but then the Feb 2014 happened... there are no guarantees.

Unless you don't have the money to do it today, why not just get her the discounted PAP? It's $1 cheaper than the regular AP with the DVC discount.

That said, DVC discounts change with some regularity. I wouldn't bank on the AP discount sticking around, since there's no telling when that might change.

In a different thread, js said that she does not live in their household so she is not eligible for member pricing.

Hi. Yes, we "spoke" yesterday and I was on the thread that was letting you know about the PAP $1 difference than the AP with the DVC discount.
I would MOST certainly purchase the PAP for my mom with the DVC discount today but was told yesterday on the phone she needed to be living at the same address. So, she needs to get a "regular" AP or PAP, no DVC discount since I own the DVC (even though it was my mom that purchased the 420 points for my family :flower3:). She will need to purchase an AP or PAP but wondered if there are ever any discounts for "regular" folk. :confused3
