Thrifty-off site-where do you return the car

I currently have 2 car rental ressies- 1 for Dollar(which I have used many times before, and know the very easy return) and the othre at Thrifty. I have nevre used Thrifty but the difference in cost is more than $80 for 10 days!!

So my question is here do you return vehicles when the car rental is not right in the airport. Any car rental return experiences with Thrify ie how fast are they, since Dollar is really fast. As our flight home is 7:30am, how much time should I allow for returning the car if I stay with Thrifty?

Hi Debbie,

I have used Thrifty many times. They are off site, about 4-5 minutes from the airport.

When arrive in MCO go down stairs & pick up the free Thrifty phone. (ask anyone is the airport where the location is) The bus will pick you up in minutes (if it's not there already) & bring you to there location.

When you get to the Thrifty location, ask them to give you exact directions from your hotel to there location. I believe it is the exit before the airport, but they will give you the exact directions. Then you hop on there bus, & they will take you to the airport & drop you off (within 5 minutes) It is a very fast uncomplicated process, worth the $80.00 savings.

It is very easy to find when you head back to the airport - there are signs. At that time of day, there will be a van waiting to bring you back - you won't have any wait for a shuttle. The airport is literally just around the corner.
