I've never been this time of year as we normally go sometime between Oct and first of December. Specifically we're thinking about the 9th thru about the 14th.

Any thoughts on crowds? Big conventions etc?

Looking for what I could find about planned refurbs and all I could find is King Tritons. Am I missing anything else? I saw POTC might be down starting mid-Feb. Any word on how long it might be down?

Looking at air(Alaska)/hotel(Hojo w/ Ent. Card)/and tix I'm about about $1700 - always looking for other ways to save $$$. Last question regarding tix...saw that theres a promo for pay Kids price for tickets. If I bought them now (or soon) would they still be good for time we're there in May?

Thanks all for any and all suggestions and tips you guys have. The Dis is the shizz.

I cant tell you about this time of the year as I have never been before. Although I have been told many times on these boards that it is best to stay away from May 14th as its mothers day and the park can get packed.

I do no know about any referbs, although like another poster on here said, and I am sure I heard the same thing (Crossing fingers we are SO wrong) Fantasmic might be down.

And as for the promo that everyone plays for the kids price, you HAVE to use the ticket for the first time before the end of April. If you bought the tickets and used them after the first of May for the first time, they will have expired and you would have wasted a ton of money.

Try calling the Disneyland Resort (1-800-225-2024), they have some really decent prices on tickets, as well as www.getawaytoday.com
