The Zombie Apocalypse has begun! Your stuck in Disney, where would you hide/defend?

I would choose Bistro de Paris because there is one stairwell to defend and plenty of food and beverages. There is an elevator, but I don't think zombies could push the button to go to the 2nd floor.

Heck with that...I'd carve up something fresh in AK and put on a total meat suit a la Walking Dead....

Zombies would think I was one of them...I'd escape right out onto I-4...where I'd see a barren, deserted Orlando...but that's for the next thread.

I’m going to dress up like DeVine and head for the trees in AK. She’s impossible to see in her disguise. I’ll watch from high above as the rest of the guests become zombie food.

The Land. Lock the place down, and have all the food I will need. No way the zombies can wall up that steep slope..... especially after I coat it with a slippery substance.:rotfl2:

DH and I would head to the Japan pavilion in Epcot. Grab some swords from the Mitsukoshi store, and head upstairs to the restaurants. Plenty of food, should be pretty well defensible, and hey look, more knives!

Now, my best bet for defense would be if I could find a bow and arrows anywhere. Long range weapons.

wow... some good ones,

i think mine would be the liberty belle can move it round to loose the zombies attention, not too far away from land, you could always get to tam sawyer island if needed too.

other than that Pirates of the carribbean, i would be safe as zombies dont like water and plus lots of swords and weapons to use lol :lmao::lmao:

If we go with the tenet that "Zombies can't swim but can walk along the bottom" Then it seems to me loading food/water on a ferry boat and driving it out into the middle of the lagoon would be the best bet. Not sure how to anchor it, but I've always thought any "Zombie outbreak" would by it's nature have to be very shortlived.

I think at general you'd have to go with "Cricket bats and axes" as it seems to me guns and ammo supply will be very limited.

Oh, but that makes me think - wouldn't the best place to go for guns and ammo on Disney property be Shades of Green. Those military families probably all come to Disney armed. I guess drive my ferry over near there and send people for supplies! (Do Zombies "sleep"?)

I would stay off the Disney buses. The way they cram guests on there, it's like ringing a dinner bell for the zombies. The strollers would get in your way if you were trying to get off quickly.

...hey, you have Dole Whips right across the way...;)

Not if the other person who wants to take it beat you to it

My DS votes for hiding out in PoC. :confused3

My DH said PoC as well, and I added my scenario with it. First, I get all the e-cookies that Wadecool was giving out on the other threads. Then I run through Pecos Bills with a cart so I can stock up on food and all the fixin's I can handle while my DH grabs as many forks, knives, and other hard metal objects that he can. On our mad race to PoC, we will be grabbing any items hanging on the walls as well can.

As we race into PoC, we leave both sides of the queue open, because we all know that everyone enters to the left anyway, while we race down the right side, grabbing chains, swords, and lanterns as we go.

When we finally make it to the ship fight scene, hoping that the zombies haven't figured out how to get on the boat and if they do, they don't think about sitting down so they get thrown off as they go down the hill- because, and here is the reason folks:

PoC has cannons. Total zombie takeout with minimal weaponry! and we can hide next to Barbosa if the zombies try to climb. Easy to fight them off that way.

I'd just stock up on those unwanted turkey legs and use them as weapons.

Once they've dried up, use them as sling shots.

BTW, I still stand with the idea of hiding at It's A Small world, the happy singing dolls have to be anti zombie defense. :dance3:

What kind of zombies are we talking about? There's a big difference between the slow, bumbling zombies like those on The Walking Dead and the smart, cunning zombies from I Am Legend.

And there's a third. The ones from the Will Smith film are sensitive to sunlight. The ones from 28 Days Later are THE worst! They can run any time of the day and are smart enough to climb ladders and fences so there's basically no escape. I really hope zombies remain science fiction. I wouldn't know what to do if Z-day really came. There would never be enough shelter to keep these critters out when they do come.

Lure them into the Tower of Terror Lifts, send them all the way up, and let them drop allllll the way to the bottom. XD

If you want weapons go to Innovations. They have a fire truck on display with all of the tools of the trade. Plenty of axes and other fun implements for defending yourself.

What luck I'm in disney when the zombie apocalypse begins! This could be fun...:woohoo: first things first run straight for EPCOT and head for the seas with nemo and friends, that's my hideout. Food from the resturaunt and if i need them sharks... hahaha just have to barricade the entrances pretty well otherwise...:scared1:

Walking dead is back on TV...thought this thread needed a comeback. This turned out t
Really be fun...thanks for all your comments so far.
