I haven't been able to play for 6th months. SO I just started cata when I had to go. What's the news on warlocks? How's the PVP going? You can look up my dude Frijolefrito on llane.

C'mon guys! It's starting to sound like the WoW forums here. If we're going to argue here it needs to be about refillable mugs and how your vacation was ruined by not getting a towel animal

I haven't spent much time on other servers, but do y'all's trade chat end up being nothing but Chuck Norris talk or taking out one word in a movie title and sub'ing Murloc for it, like Kung Fu Murloc. I try not to read our trade b/c I'm convinced they suck your brain cells out that way. But seriously, I think the only useful info I ever got out of ours (whether it be in game or rl info) was the night that they announced that we had gotten Osama.

That's exactly what I thought.

Then we I played Aion the big thing to do in trade chat was to talk about how WoW was the first MMO. Talk about getting gaming geeks undies all twisted. I could just imagine them all purple faced and typing as hard as they can.

The latest thing to do in trade, which has thankfully started to die off, was to post the word "Anal" followed by linking any spell, skill or talent. Example: Anal [Arcane Blast]

Real quick funny story.....

I am in Tol Barad doing dailies when I get a whisper from somebody I don't know. I'm playing my mage.

"Can you come to Shadowglen and port me to SW? I'm paying 3g!"


LOL.... I didn't even know where Shadowglen was, so I googled it.... It is in Night Elf country.

Yeah, that 3g sure made me want to port to Darnassus, find my way up to Shadowglen, all so I can port a level 5 toon......

That became a very fast /ignore.

That one still pops up on KT, or they link something to a sexual reference either before or after the linked spell/skill. I swear it's like the entire server is made up of either 13 yr old boys, or grown men that feel like they can act like 13 yr old boys b/c no one can see them.

You are much nicer than I am. I would have done that for a friend, but not someone that I don't know. I would have told them something like, "aww hun, your much too young to be in the big city all by yourself. I tell ya what, when you are old enough to walk there all by yourself, then I will gladly port you back there from any point on the map." I have been known though, that if I'm in SW for example and someone wants a port to any other major city, that I will do it at no charge.

I was so happy last night!! I found the Fossilized Hatchling while lvl'ing up Archaeology. That lvl'd me up enough that I could go to Oulands. Well I had gone to SW to show my hubby my new pet. The fastest way that I could think of getting to Outland was to go through the portal in the mage tower to the Blasted Lands, and then take the Dark Portal. Well I was in the trade district, so I decided to be a "lazy mage" and port to SW so I would be in the mage tower. I take the portal and as soon as my toon pops up in the BL, I said outloud, "omg i'm the freaking dumbest mage ever. I could have just ported myself right to Shat." Then I got all excited b/c it showed that with the Orc relics that I was going to discover "Headdress of the First Shaman", and I remembered that being an epic quality item. It's a lvl 61 mail item. The only toon I have that could wear it, is my warrior. That would only be for RP anyway.

I love the little fossil guy (gal?). I am trying to get the mount to match but I haven't had much luck.

I have to admit I am getting older. I have the Winterspring Cub and I have the bigger cat as my pet. They are both purple-ish so I have them both out at the same time (on my server its fashionable to have matching things). I named my pet Haze (you get it, right?). So I get asked by what I believe now to be a kid "why did you name your cat Haze?". "Ummm, because he's purple ". "A purple cat named Haze???" "Yes". "I don't get it".

I really need to put more work into my Arch. I would love that mount. I want to get all of the pets more though. Also, I would love to get my Arch up on my toon that is an Alchy. That way I could get the recipe to make the two person flying mount.


Haze is a great name for that pet. I love putting thought into my DH's pets names. He usually lets me name them. I named one Kenny, and I had a macro that would say, "you b's, you killed Kenny" when he was killed. Then he had one named Pedro, and when he would rez his pet, I made him a macro that said, "Pedro offers you his protection". He got a monkey that we named after our youngest DS b/c that's his nickname, he named his mastif after our oldest son, and then he named his green cat after me. I think the only two pets of his that I didn't name were his wolf and his spectral crab spirit beast. He named his crab Ghostcrawler. He had the same problem that you had with your cat with his wolf. He named his wolf, Jack. You know after Wolfman Jack.

I have never heard of that comic book, but those are cool names. When I renamed my warrior, I wanted to name her Mifune. One of my favorite actors is Toshiro Mifune, and since my toon was a girl, I thought I would go with Mifune. I didn't get to name her that b/c someone else already had that name, so I named her Lilliebelle.

It's a Joss Whedon/Buffy The Vampire Slayer tie-in comic. (She's a slayer from the future..) Actually, all my toons are named after Whedon characters. Innarra, Cordylia, Allyria. Of course the spelling is different but my toons are all Whedon-related.

My mage is Hunniebunny. Her original name was Brinna, but when I changed her to my main, I changed her name to Hunniebunny. The warrior was originally named Hunnybunny, so I changed her name to Lilliebelle thinking it would free up the name for the mage. I would have had to wait 90 days for the name to open up, so I just changed it to Hunniebunny instead of Hunnybunny. I was doing a racial change to the mage at the time and a name change was included. If I waited, I would have had to pay extra for a name change. Hunnybunny is my DH's nickname for me.
My belf's name is Maggymay, after my mom's dog. I have a Worgen named Peytton. Then I have a DK named Bunniefoofoo. I named her that b/c of the DK "Death Grip" ability and the part of the song that goes "scooping up the field mice and bopping them on the head".

My GM threatened to kick her from the guild b/c he got tired of people singing that song both in vent and in g-chat anytime I got on. Or he would say "ok HB everytime some one mentions that song when you log, minus 50 dpk for you main." He wasn't serious, since we don't use the dkp loot system.

So, what's the procedure to remove a GM who doesn't play? About a month ago he slowed down a ton. Now he hasn't been on at all in 9 days, and won't answer a phone call.

I opened a ticket with Blizzard, but got back a response ( canned I am sure ) with no useful information.

NVM..... I found my answer on the warcraft forums.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. Well my DH finally made me do ZA. I did ok, I guess. My dps range anywhere from 10K to 16K, so ok but not great. I was hoping to get Mojo, but I didn't get a single Amani war stick-thingy. Hopefully, my Archaeology will be high enough before I go in there again, so I can do the Arch stuff.

Well not much going on for me in my little WOW world....

DH and I decided that our mage/warrior combo, though much loved...we both hate the actual toons themselves...warrior is a male tauren, and I am a male BE...so we decided to can them, and re-roll the combo...Both of us BE females. While I have taken the arcane spec this time, he is taking fury again. So far so good, they got to 19 in about 4hrs of play time...not to shabby.

My NE hunter is about to hit 82. I am taking my time with her...I have been doing a lot of archeology and BG's mostly in between. I will probably head back to Hyjul soon to continue leveling.

Otherwise, not a lot going on...I have found a decent money-maker on my one realm though..Winterspring Cub pet...I pay 45g for it, then sell it on the Neutral AH for 100g. Usually sells no problem...so I have been doing that a lot. I will probably sell some on the Horde AH too...

People have been doing that on KT too. I keep thinking, "people can't really be dumb enough to buy those at those prices." I know I have seen them up as much as 150g. I guess as long as people keep buying them, people will keep putting them up. I just can't personally do it, b/c I feel that would be like taking advantage of people stupidity or lack of knowledge about where you can buy the pet. I have no problem with people that do, I just personally wouldn't do it.
