I hope everyone has had a good weekend. Well I had started raiding again. I was going to go on Friday and Saturday nights with a 10 man. However, after this last Friday night, I don't think I'll be doing it again. First, a couple of the "elitist" guys that think they are WoW gods, were trying to form a 10 man run for the same instance an hour before our was going to start. Then when they finally came with us, they were total....well can't think of a way to say it that won't get me in trouble on a Disney message board. One of them even told a girl that is was to bad her parents hadn't been more into "pro choice" so they wouldn't have had her. I'm telling you, it was bad.
Then there was loot drama that I was square in the middle of. There had been some BoE bracers in our g-bank. Normally, I don't ask for stuff like that, but I did b/c my DH just wouldn't shut up until I asked if I could have them. During the run, the 24 hour time period ran out and since I was the only one that asked for them, the GM came to BWD and gave them to me. A helm dropped, and I picked it up. Before this run, my gear score was so low that I couldn't do H ZA. When a wand dropped, I thought "sweet, that would be a huge upgrade since I'm sporting a 316. It was Theresa's Booklight a 359, so a massive upgrade. I asked the RL if it was ok if I rolled on it. He gave me to ok and I won the roll. Well a few minutes later, the GM whispered me and said that since I had gotten the bracers out of the g-bank, that I should give either the helm or the wand to this lock in the run. He added that if I didn't he remembered things like that. This little whinny "man" ran to his buddy (who happens to be the GM) instead of the RL. He had a blue wand from a H, so it was a better upgrade for me. Honestly, I would have given him one of the items if he had gone to the RL and not the GM. It was just the fact that he went to his buddy. I just get sick of these "men's clubs" in guilds. If your big buddy's with the GM, you get whatever you want and can do whatever you want. I took what the GM was saying as a threat. Like "if you don't do this, then if you need something in the future, you can forget about it." He told the RL, what he really meant, was that if I had given him one of the items, then he would have rewared me with 3 new epic BoE's the next day. Honestly, I would rather this "man" not have gotten his way than have been handed the epics.
