Eye buy starts out at $7.99 and up. I actually like the cheap ones more than the $30+ ones that qualify for the sale. We decided to put it on hold until he gets back, too much to do.

They are a local couple and the wedding was in St Paul last month. They put it on youtube for guests to watch.. now thousands of people have watched and they were on the Today show today (and the video is being shown on ET tonight)

I don't have my SIL's email.. I think it would be cute to do something similar.

E and I have talked about renewal of vows.. since we had a rushed wedding that really wasn't "US" .. planned out by my parents. We thought of a cute piece of music from Kingdom Hearts game.. but this was way cooler!

Hubby scoffed " there is now freaking way we are going to do that" pfffffffffft

Just jumping on to say have a great weekend. DBF's sister (the one I don't care for) and her boyfriend and her 2 kids arrived this moring for the week. We are taking them to San Diego this weekend and DL on Tuesday. Not sure what DBF has planned the rest of the week because Tuesday is the only day I'm taking off to go with them because it's Disneyland.

Guess who came to visit me today? Vinny, Jazzy, Mikalah & Alex! They are all such cuties and so very well behaved. Oh yeah and they brought their parents along too! Had a very nice visit with them.

Disneyland might have brought us together, but our friendships continue to grow and evolve beyond that one place, beyond a simple posting board and into our hearts.

He's a kid, that's what kids do! My son doesn't seem to go more than about 1hour without food or he think's he's starving.

Bruce wanted to apologize also that he wasn't very friendly or talkative. But 3 hours of sleep wasn't quite enough for him to be awake! He said he hopes we can get together again, but this time when he's awake.

So I was thinking that maybe I would bring the kids up there to the zoo. We've never been to the Pt. Defiance Zoo and I that would be fun. So maybe we can hook up and take all of the kids to the zoo. I was thinking that since Bruce will be working nights again August 9, that might be a good time. Gets us out of the house so he can sleep during the day. Plus with Chelsie & I along, it would give you extra hands with the kids.

And we would love to have you guys over again. Anytime you want to come, just holler.

I guess I'm so used to DH working days for so many years, that this night thing throws me for a loop. I'm glad it's only four days of nights, then 12 normal days. Last night was his last night of night work. He got home at 6:30 this morning and went to bed, he's going to have the kids wake him up around 11am. Then he will try to stay up until 8 or 9 this evening. Hopefully back to a somewhat normal schedule by tomorrow.

The kids 14-girl and 10-boy are really really excited. I told them about pin trading and am going to give them some traders to trade.

It was so funny yesterday. We took them to Catalina Island and we all went swimming in the ocean. Neither of them had ever seem the ocean. Everytime the water would kind of roll a little (there's no waves in Catalina) DBF's niece would scream and say "Wow, these are big waves". Um...wait until you go to the "real" beach on Wednesday.

Spend your days at the pool! It's freezing in Scotland right now, I have on a sweater and a blanket. I just got back from a heat wave in Canada so it's quite a weather shock to my body to be cold right now.

I don't think I could make it without AC. Seriously, if it gets too bad, come on down and stay with me for a couple of days. We have AC! It's so hot that the kids packed up last night and are headed to grandma & grandpa's house at the beach this morning (where it is a cool 80 degrees, instead of 105!). So I have two empty beds and one empty pool. Our house is cool, but I think the kids knew they would get bored staying inside for the next few days, so they jumped ship!

Yesterday the thermometer in my car was 109 degrees! Yeah, I know Shawna is probably laughing at us. But remember, we're acclimated to 75 degrees, not 100 degrees! Today's forecast today and tomorrow for Portland is 105!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, ready for my gross story.......just skip over this post if you don't want to read about it.




Last night DH threw a little surprise birthday bbq for me. My SIL is watching her BFF's 7yo boy while they are vacationing in Mexico. So he was there also.

Well he he jumps out of the pool all of the sudden and bolts towards the house. We had run out of beach towels for the pool, so he hollers that he needs a towel before he goes in the house. I run out to the trailer and get my backup pool towels. He is standing on the back porch jumping around, so I figured he needed to pee and hurried to get the towels.

A couple of minutes later DD notices that he is standing in the corner on the porch. She asks him what he's doing, he says nothing, huddles under the towel and then darts into the house.

Well a couple of minutes later I go into the house and there about two steps into the house is a turd. So now I quickly realize what the little boy was doing huddled into the corner.

I quickly cleaned it up and no one else saw it. But all I could think was this is absolutely hilarious. My DH throws me a party and what do I get but a Birthday Turd! I have no idea why I think this is so funny, but it just cracks me up!

New rule at Alison's House.....no need to wait for a pool towel if you need to go in the house to use the bathroom!
