The Unofficial Ask-a-Question Get-an-Answer Thread

I believe you can do Child Swap anywhere though I might be wrong.

Different attractions handle things differently, because they may load/unload in different areas, and it may not be practical to do swaps.

Always ask a CM what your options might be.

Great thread! I have a question about APs and DDP and wasn't sure where to ask it...

Is there an exception made to the rule that everyone on a package must have the same ticket to add DDP if part of the group has APs? My party will be 2 adults and 1 under-3 for the first trip, but by the second trip the child will be 3 and therefore need a ticket. If the adults have APs, can I just buy a regular ticket for the child on the second trip and still add DDP for all of us? Or will the child need an AP as well on the second trip?

I'm a bit confused about your trip. If it's Free Dining then you need to purchase a one-day ticket for everyone. You can then upgrade your child's ticket to however many days you would like.

1. Is it ok to reuse your refillable mug in subsequent years?
2. Can you save chairs at the waterparks?
3. Is it ok to to take your kids out of school to go to Disney? :duck:

Ok, Ok I'm just joking about questions 1-3 ;) but what about these....

4. Do you need reservations for dinner at Biergarten?
5. Can you use KTTW at the F&W festival?
6. Does anyone have more posts than Robo, does he sleep, and is he paid a commission by the disboards? :)

4) I go under the philosophy, "Just get an ADR". If you want to eat there, do it. Otherwise you risk being turned away, which depending on the season is pretty likely.

5) For charging? Absolutely. Just try not to look at the bill on your check out day. :)

6) I believe the answer is "Yes (for now), No, No"...

Since your asking a question about Robo's post, I want to ask a question about the Month in my start date. I'm quite sure I was on the DisBoards before Aug of 1999, I think everyones was reset to that month, but don't know for sure. Anyone got June of 1999 or earlier?

What color are the rain poncho's at Disney? I want to try and get a different color so its easier to find my family in a crowd.

Last year the ponchos were clear with MM on the back. Older ponchos are bright yellow.

This is a great thread! Thanks to whom ever thought this up!
My Question is: Are the laundry facilities open 24/7 or do they close?

Does anyone know if they decorate HM at MK for Nightmare Before Chirstmas like they do at DL. Between October-December.:rolleyes1

No Nightmare Before Christmas overlay at WDW. Only at DL.

Is it really true that fast passes for TSM are gone by 10 am?

Is it really true that fast passes for TSM are gone by 10 am?

It's not necessarily "true" or "false". It's more of a matter of timing. The majority of people might head straight for TSM as soon as they enter the park and get a fastpass. Once people see how long the line-up is for standby for TSM they will then go straight for the fastpasses. I would say that if the park opens at 9am, then the fastpasses might be almost gone by 10am but if not than they might be for later on in the day such as 5:00 pm on.

If that answers your question (it gets confusing).

This is not a question about the Halloween party at MK but a question about crowd level at the other parks on Oct 31st. For example Epcot on Oct. 31st, how are the crowds?

We did this and brought our blue Cedar Point ponchos when we went to Disneyland in 2003 so we'd be different from all the bright yellow, only to find out that DL's ponchos were blue! :headache:

I asked this as a thread, but no response. Anyone know if the train stops running completely during the afternoon parade at MK?
