I have bypassed that virtual reality thing that is right after you exit test track every time I go. Can someone tell me what it is and if I am missing out on something.

"The virtual reality thing" (with the rotating seats) has now become basically a promo for GM cars.

If you didn't stop, you are not alone, and you've not missed anything special.

We by passed it several times due to the long line then last trip there was no line so DH, DD and DS hopped on. DS was too short so he had to get up on his knees then the thing wouldn't move. I guess he just watched the film. All three said it wasn't much of anything.

It's nothing special. Just a huge plug for GM. They usually have a few GM cars you can get into and see the features. You're not missing anything.

We're not discussing the big "Showroom" where the GM cars are displayed.
The question is about the sort-of "Classroom area" that has rows of "desks" that are designed to be a virtual reality (kind of) program.

This area is off to your left just after you exit the photo-viewing area of the Test Track ride, but before you reach the big GM showroom.

Dh and I have always been curious about this too, but it's always full with a wait time when we go through. We never felt it was worth a wait.

Just keep on walking. As others have mentioned it is a giant commercial for GM.

I always wondered what that was. The lines were sooo long so we just pasted it. I am glad i am not missing anything..

I never did it but my dad did and he said it was nothing great. So I guess im not missing anything.

You're talking about Dream Chasers, which is possibly the biggest waste of time in all of WDW. It's a virtual reality thing. What you're seeing from inside the headset is an animated scene, and I can't even begin to describe how boring and pointless it is. Add to that the fact that there's almost always a line, and it's extremely slow-loading, and you've got a total dud. The one time my daughter and I got in what we thought looked like a short line for the thing, we ended up waiting about half an hour and then the attraction was so disappointing. Please don't waste your precious vacation time on this.

thanks for the replies. I am glad I not missing anything.

I'm so glad to hear we aren't the only family sucked into that line... I'd maybe give it a 5-minute wait. The technology is cool if you're not used to VR stuff. But that's about it!
