Did it have to do with his brand of cell phone......or am I the one with the dirty mind now?

Hello, Oh, hold on a second, my Cell phone is ringing.....

I use ATT, I have a megagolopic phone that actually has a Men-in-black shhot'em up, Chess and a strange version of Solitaire. Internet access, downloadable games, and a built in organizer (like a palm) Favorite ring-tone-Small World...

Gotta run...

:bounce:

Good golly......should've known ohanafamily would have all the gadgets possible on HIS cell phone....if only he could show me how to use mine....oh, well, not all of us are as lucky asRRBB to be married to a wonderful techinical dude.......but a girl can always dream......;)

Laura: Pretty kitty:)

QOTD: Probably Crash(blame a thing for James Spader) and for blood and guts Underworld

working late...thought I'd catch up before heading home.

BichonBarb...I'm a 'capture and release' person also. Only cockroaches get killed, and thankfully don't have any in my part of town (older parts of Phoenix have MONSTER sewer roached...ick).

Cadburysmon....See WISHES while at O'hana! Check the scheduled time for the fireworks and the time of your PS. They darken the restaurant, pipe in the music and pretty much everything stops during the fireworks....it's a wonderful view. You can request a window view table when you check in, and even offer to wait for one if necessary (the like it when you are sweet about your request;) and will try to accomodate you. I thought it was a better view than the one from the Contemporary/Calif. Grill.

OK...going home now, hope there will be somebody around on the weekend to play with!

Oh, reminded me to tell you that my phone has her picture on it, a camera, caller ID with a picture and distinctive ring...My UPS rep has "We Wish you a Merry X-Mas" figuring it is always a holiday stress time when she calls.....

Did RRBB tell you that I broke her cell phone in DL last year? I dropped it and the lower third part of the screen broke. She won't let me get it fixed because "It Still Works Fine!!!!! Can you all help me convince her to let me upgrade her phone?

:bounce:

OH my....a girl's gone for a few days and you guys post 25 pages!! YIKES!! Just back on....been sick all week with either food poisoning or some random stomach virus the rest of the family managed to avoid, but I'm feeling better so I'm trying to catch up. Needless to say, I've just skimmed...

Let's see...

Real names
me-Katie
DH-Danny
DD-Abbie
DS-Walt (like Disney, but not after!)
Dcat-Alex (she came with the name Axle, but it just didn't sound girlie enough...)

Recurring dreams...falling

Scared....death...mostly of now knowing what comes after....

What haven't you done?
MK--AstroOrbiter, Magic Carpets, Racecars
Epcot--can't think of anything not done....
MGM--WWTBAM
AK--lots...we usually skim or skip it....

Well, going to post separately on Magical Gatherings in case you're still looking for info...did one in December :)

Happy to be back!

Hey, maybe I should check into a magical gatherrings thingy, anybody done it yet?

Yes, we did one for 20 family members in December.

A few pointers...

--the 8 people required don't have to be adults, only "paying guests" which means ages 3 and over, so you may have it if you go back and include children over 3 :)

--I think 8 people have to do any event you sign up for, but everyone doesn't have to do every event

--no freebies involved (someone mentioned a t-shirt in an earlier post, but unless this has been recently added, it's not included) They do give you the opportunity to order special merchandise, but I think most folks I've seen have gotten the personalized shirts from disneystore.com

--they don't tell you outright, but if you ask, they'll tell you only 80% of your party has to be staying on property...and as someone pointed out, Swan and Dolphin don't count, and neither does SOG...."Disney owned and operated" is the requirement

--to read some first-hand accounts of 3 of the 4 Grand Gathering Experiences, see this thread....(MK breakfast hadn't been reviewed last time I looked)....we did the Magical Fireworks Voyage and loved it...it was worth every penny! And after reading the reviews, hope to do the safari next time....

Grand Gatherings Experiences Reviews

Well, that's about it for now. Let me know if you have any other questions, although I will be off-line for a few days...heading to dear Godson's 1st birthday party....just me and the kids...DH has to stay home and work! OH well....

Wish I could join you to help get you to 8, but don't think we can make it in October! Good luck!

Good morning everyone, sorry I haven't posted for a few days but have been busy with work. It looks like you guys have been busy chatting too I think I have about 20 pages to catch up on!!
So does anyone have anything fun planned this weekend? DH has his schools musical tonight again so I am going to watch it. They are doing Dracula Spectacula, it is kind of a rock musical which sounds fun. Then tomorrow I guess we will decide what to do when we get to it.
Well right now I am going into town to do a little shopping then go over to the theatre that I help out at for lunch (our friends run the restaurant there where I do voluntary bar work.)
Have a good Saturday
:wave2:

Good morning everyone. Just wanted to stop in and say hi. It's snowing outside, so that means only one thing. The St. Pat's parade must be today.

Oh well, better bundle up.

Good Morning all,

Thanks for the breakfast geffric.

Danauk, when you work the bar do you get tips, free drinks, free food or all of the above? I tended bar for a Friend in college once (when a bartender at his bar was sick and no one could cover. it was quite easy there, everything was pre-mixed and I just had to pour. but I made a lot in tips ( a white male with a Texas Accent serving at a bar in a very Hispanic part of Encino...besides half of them knew me a a Usual (kind of like Norm on Cheers) That whole 6 months was a blast...I lived in Santa Monica, was going to a trade school there, and one of my class mates owned this bar. They had a huge stage out back, and Friday night concerts. I got to meet such groups as Miami Sound Machine, Stacey-Q, Lisa Lisa and the cult jam. We actually went partying with NU SHOES. Someone got a Limo, we wound up in LA clubbing. I don't remember as much from that night as I should, there was an awful lot of alcohol flowing. I do have some very fond memories...

Nephosaurus has been bugging us for a few days to turn on POTC again, and RRBB wanted to watch the bonus footage. Me, I have to go into work.

CourtasanSatine, how is it going with DBF? did you figure out how to handle the family?

kadaten, I am not sure if we will be able to make it with the 8 adults...but we may be able to make it work out. The video made it look like the t-shirts were included.

gotta get to work...

Hopefully, we will make it to the Salad Bar for lunch (I only work until 1:00 today)
:bounce:

ohanafamily when I work behind the bar at the theatre I do not get paid to do so (the whole building is staffed by volunteers as the council wanted to pull down the theatre as it was not making money but a group of us presuaded the council to give us the building and we would run it. The building is now doing really well and making lots more money!) So any tips we get we put in to a central fund. We tend to get quite a few tips as we tell the customers the building is being staffed by volunteers. Then every few months as the fund allows we have a night out somewhere, either to see another show, an evening at the dog track etc. Once our bar shift is over and we have cleaned up (a 1000 seater concert hall takes quite a while to tidy after a party!!) we can help ourself to drinks, although we usually only have 1 or 2 as by this time it is usually about 2 or 3am!!!! I enjoy helping though and it is nice to meet the actors or musicians who come to perform. I have an access all areas pass so I can chat to them in their dressing rooms after the show and make sure they had a good time too.

I've had quite a good morning so far. I went into town and bought a top with 3 pictures of tigger on for my trip to DLP. Then I did go to the theatre for lunch which was nice. I'm just about to go and have a bath (after I have put another load of washing in) and get ready to go to DH's school for his school play.

Have a good day everyone.
