The Tagliarchy Mansion

Good morning fellow TAGLIKINS!

Hooray it's the weekend! ......DS9 had to go to school today :( it's a snow make-up day because we southerners freak out at the first sign of a snowflake and close down all the schools....I guess it's a good safety precaution......but we had to miss DS9's first soccer game......oh, well......we took off 5 days in Jan for our Disney cruise so why complain!;)

ibouncetoo It's good to hear from you again and thanks for the tip about O'Hanas and Wishes. Do the fireworks go off at park closing time or a little before, and also, how long would a meal last? I might need to change our PS time to coincide with Wishes.

...I know, dumb questions, but we haven't done WDW since 1997..

Danauk It sounds like you have a blast at your volunteer position....sure wish we had something like that around here!

geffric Thanks for breakfast....and um, well, when are you leaving next week for your cruise? I need to know so I can sneak inside one of your bags.....one of the bigger ones please.....you'll need to tip the porters a little extra so they'll be gentle with me......:p

For the record, I'm a catch and release or leave alone gal too..........except when it comes to SLUGS then I salt the hell out of them.

My DH thinks today is <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/8/8_9_1.gif' border=0></a> but I don't have the heart to tell him he's dumb and it isn't. I'm sending my 5yr old so he can correct dad. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/8/8_9_8.gif' border=0></a>

cadburysmom we leave on Friday.. do you want to meet us at the airport in Orlando or come North and sneak in the bags before we leave.. I will stop at Ghiradelli's and get somethings for you so that you will be comfortable.. I thought I could tell the baggage carriers that the reason the bag was so heavy was because i had a chocolate bunny in it
:teeth:

Your DS can blend in with mine...after all they are boys they look alike....LOL

Just stopping in to say "hi!". I'm at work & we are busy today!!

Yesterday's question: new CD that I recommend: Norah Jones' new CD is really good (if you liked the 1st)

I liked the movie "Wild Things", too. The part with the teeth was great! I got a kick out of Kevin Bacon's wee-wee too.

I'll try & check in later.

Have a great day everyone!

cadburysmom, didn't realize your WDW trip is in June. Parks close later than when I'm there and even though the June schedule isn't posted yet on the Disney site, WISHes is at park closing and will be around 9 and 10PM. I've done Ohana in Jan or Nov when the parks close/fireworks are earlier. So if you PS is at a normal dinner time, you should have time to get to the MK to see WISHes. I think this is your arrival day and if you don't have an AP you may not want to actually go to the MK for just a couple of hours. You can see the fireworks from the beach at the Polly...I'm told.

I'm very excited about staying at POFQ, aren't you?

PS might know the answer to the fireworks timing question...

O'hannas is a great place to watch the fireworks too.

Guess what, we are on page #100, time to start thinking of moving.....

:bounce:

It sure has been chatty around here. We've only been in this beautiful, new mansion 2 weeks and we already have to think about moving again. I guess the positive side to that is we get along and have fun. But I sure am tired of packing and unpacking all the time. Oh well, we gotta do what we gotta do. Just make sure we take all our cool gadgets - chocolate or otherwise - with us...

geffric Because I'm not as limber as I used to be, we'll just meet you in MCO.......so happy DS9 will blend in with the boys....a suitcase stuffed with two people gets mighty cramped!

ibouncetoo Yes, I'm looking forward to POFQ....stayed at CBR five yrs ago....liked the room colors there and hope POFQ is just as nice, especially after the recent redo......and about the pool.....there's just something about sliding down a TONGUE that is very intriguing..:p

I'm soooo happy for you....I just remember how excited I was before my wedding.....oh. to be young and in love again:lovestruc.....

Hello everybody.

Can't believe we may be moving again so soon. How about we get a place by the water for our next crib. Beachfront or lakeside maybe?

DH and Daniel are off on a quest to find baseball cleats and a new bike for his birthday. Then we have recital practice and after that family over for dinner.

CD I recommend is Coldplay "The Scientist". It's not brand new, probably been out about a year, but still I highly recommend it. This morning we have been listening to the soundtrack from "O Brother Where Art Thou". It's also a few years old, but really good.

Haven't seen CourtasanSatine in here today, hope all is well. If you're out there girl, drop us a line and let us know how you're doing.

Time to start cleaning up a little, but I just don't feel like it. Deadheadbelle you don't mind if it's a little dusty here and there do you? I promise to provide clean plates and utensils and I will clean the bathrooms. Maybe I could just keep the lighting dim and no one will notice how lazy I've been lately.

Deadheadbelle, should we tell everybody about our new plan for next summer?

llebrekniT, you are still 1 post ahead of Lewski709, why don't you pick the new home? I would also like to hear about your new plan!!

Just stopping by to say hello to the colorful people here on the DIS.................

OK, just a quickie about the new plan.

DHB's family and my own, including the grandparents, had previously decided that every summer we will visit a new ballpark that we've never been to before, you know kind of see some new areas of the country that way. This summer we plan to stay within driving distance.

Being the schemers that she and I are, we've hatched a plan for next summer's ballpark trip. There are so many nice ballparks in southern CA, it would be a shame not to go out west and visit one. Oh, and by the way, isn't there a nice amusement park out that way, say, oh I don't know, maybe DISNEYLAND!!!

I'm so excited I can't stand it! I've been wanting to go for so long. The closest I got was one summer when I was 16, but if you remember the story of why I was out in CA, well things just didn't work out for us to make it to the park on that trip.

So, the planning has begun! We want to stay at the parks for 3 or 4 days and then of course we'll need to do a ballgame, maybe the zoo and I have to see where the stars live! I just don't want to go during earthquake season........

Wouldn't it be too freaky if those same DIS people we ran into this fall at WDW were at that park at the same time us again!?! Must be fate!

You a vewy sneaky girl, llebrekniT. I LOVE your plan. And all the better if you run into some of the same TAGLIKINS, too.
