Where is everyone? Kids might not be getting their new doo's today. Maria (my friend and hairdresser) called. She's going to the doctor this after. She may have strep.

DH is supposed to go at 5:00
So, since I have nothing exciting to talk about, I'll give you my weekend agenda:
This evening - Eric has a basketball tournament game, so I think we'll go to Pizzaria Uno for dinner first. Hey, it's Lent. DH doesn't eat meat. Got any better ideas than a spinoccoli pizza?
Tomorrow is the infamous Syracuse St. Patrick's Day Parade.

And of course it's going to be freezing tomorrow as it is every year.

But I think we'll bundle up and head downtown.
DH just called me from Cingular Wireless about a family plan. I think I'm going to be joining the masses and getting a cell phone.

I have an aversion to those things. They often have a habit of turning good people into complete nitwits. For example, when we were at Bristol Mtn. a few weeks ago, waiting in line to get on the high speed quad chair (you really need to pay attention to what you are doing), some kid is chatting on a cell phone. The chair comes around to grab the four people, he's not paying attention, falls over to the side, the attendant is telling him to get out of the way, he's still playing with the phone, they have to stop the whole lift. It was ridiculous. This is what the line of people waiting looked like:
But, I solemnly swear that I will not talk on the phone and drive at the same time. For some reason, when people talk and drive, they feel that they automatically become exempt from using their directional indicators. It drives me crazy. And I will not chat on the phone when I go out to dinner with friends.

Okay, I'm done with my rant now.
