Ok Ok....I am feeling the love. My response to the OP on that board was pretty simple. I feel bad for her and what happened wasn't right....never said it was. But she did put me down on another thread about writing guest relations. Regardless of tthe problem or compliment, I believe guest feedback is GOOD...no matter what it is about. I never whined, simply asked if the postcards were random (basically saying they really don't track or care who gets them) why can't they be transferred to another person who can use it if they can't. I don't see that as crying or whining. I did a phone call from my travel agent who had gotten a phone call from DISNEY. I think ANYONE should be able to write and expect a respone. I did it professionally and maybe that is why I did get feedback, some of them can't comprehend that and made all kinds of insinuations.

Cheeringmom I am sorry no one responded to you and I am in now ay implying you were not professional!!!!!! In NO way!!!!

I do know how you feel. Personal attacks are hard to take. My own experience really opened my eyes to what people in the public spotlight go through. I'm not made to take it. It really hurt me.

Hmm, I always thought if someone hits you offer them your other cheek, but in practice I tried to duck the punch and shoulder throw them. I had a couple of years of Judo, don’t remember much except how to fall, and how to miss a punch…

I have a few good stories from eighth grade. Prolog: I was always a pacifist. I was large, but I never fought back. I was at Summer camp (the worst experience of my life!!!) the entire cabin ganged up on me. For a week and a half. Finally I snapped. The wimpiest kid in the cabin sat next to me and just started railing on me. Before I could stop it, my right arm (I am left handed) was where he had been seated. He was on the ground 3 feet away with 2 broken ribs. No one bothered me again for the rest of that experience. I also eighth grade teacher startle me (from behind) that got punched in the stomach. She was head of discipline too. I felt so bad, but it was ok…Actually the best one was earlier that year, I was in the cafeteria and there was a table with my best friend at it, I sat down, and another guy I couldn’t stand (he was a shrimpy guy with frizzy hair) who was also best friends with my best friend sat next to me and started making comments. I picked up my jellow and looked at him. Everyone around the table started egging me on. Finally he looked me straight in the eyes and said “I Dare you!” Plop, on his head. Well the head of the science department was laughing so hard it took the head of discipline (the one I would later punch out) 5 minutes to get out of him what happened. I was dragged by my ear to her office. The more she talked, the more I couldn’t stop laughing. I really felt sorry for her (not) with what happened next. She called my advisor. “Great, we have been trying to get him to fight back!” The Principal, “Wow, HE ACTUALLY DID THAT, GREAT”. The Headmaster.. He Did What? “Incredible! It is really good he is finally learning to fight back” My parents (when they got to school) Started laughing and patting me on the back. I think they sent her an apology and a fruit basket. I really was a good kid, but any one can loose their temper in 8th grade…

I am off to the Pizza Place then home...Maybe I will join you in the Hot Tub!!!

FPgurl04 what position do you play in softball? Fastpitch? My DDs are starting, still young. DD1 is in 10U league (fourth year) and DD2 is in 6U (second year). DD1 loves it and I think she will stick with it throughout school. She likes to play catcher and first base. This age, they still rotate a lot. fastpitch definitely!! and i love playing the outfield (usually left, and i hate center because i'm as slow as molasses) and second base. i used to pitch, but had to give it because of time and scheduling issues. i remember at that young age, playing every position, and in coach pitch, if u missed 3 balls then you got to hit off the tee! the good old days; wish i could still do the tee thing! compliment your daughter, catcher is so tough and you have to be so brave to play back there! i am so excited softball season has begun. i've been practicing with travel for about 3 monthes now, and rec ball practices just began last weekend. i'm so excited. and MLB spring training has begun!! "it's the second most wonderful time of the year..." like that Christmas song except with second because Christmas rocks. ok, ignore me. i'm rambling because i'm and i just got home from shopping! btw, that smiley is great!

since i haven't been here in forever, is there anything i have to catch up on? (and u can leave out anything involving 'benicio' please )

btw, thanks for all of the science fair luck...i came in first in my category!!! omg, here's a story of my utter grace! when i went to accept my ribbon, i was walking down steps to get to my principal who was handing out the awards. i also had on these really high heeled boots. so i wasn't completely on the step yet when the principal like grabs me and hugs me! so i clumsily fell onto the next step. the entire gym of people (my whole class, some 7th graders, and a ton of parents and teachers) started laughing at me! i just kind of acted all smooth... so embarassing! lol. only me...

FPgurl04, Congrats on the science fair first place! It get tough at your grade level in competition! Very good!!! My DD loves fastpitch softball. She wanted to do fall ball this past fall, but there were not enough girls her age to make a team; she was so disappointed. She has even done some extra practices with one of my friends who coaches. We find out on Saturday if she makes it on my friend's team (he is a great coach and I hope she gets on his team). He already knows she will be a good catcher; she can throw to second base with no problems (she is only 9!). Anyway, look forward to hear how you do in softball and I will brag when I can!!!!

Okay, the rest of you, did you not work at work or home today? I think you have gabbed today like 13 pages or something! Incredible! I think this was a record. I gave up trying to read everything; my back would kill me with that along with numb feet! Sorry about any problems with other threads with not so nice people; it is sad. PD to you all on the "debate board" here on the CB!

I got good news today! No, my back is still the same, but my worse worries about my job has been lessened. My director did not fill my position yet and my long term disability pays 60% of my pay on top of my workmans comp pay. It continues on even if I am "terminated" for five years after it starts. If I get "terminated" at 12 months after my injury, and I get rehired within 12 months of termination, I retain my hire date and benefits and salary!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/101.gif' border=0></a> That was a big worry since I started at my hospital in 1984; lots and lots of seniority and salary! So, I feel so much better; must have been all the PD you sent me. Thanks everyone and have wonderful evening!!!!!!!! Now, I can focus on healing rather than loosing my job!!!!!

She was all concerned, I was at the table in a bag... But she won!!! OMG!!!!! We took a picture, but I will have to let her post it. She still has the camera, and I am in the room watching television. I hope she doesn't mind me using the telephone to check in, but I won't even try to read all of these pages on a dial-up line.

She brought me up here with the basket when she came back to change after her performance, and now she is at an all night crop. I hope she is haveing fun. I think I will order some room service, How does a fruit salad and chocolate milk shake sound.

Is ohanafamily missing us a bunch? he called a little while ago, and he sounds so pitiful. I hope my brother is helping to cheer him up. Actually, I hope my brother is not being a bad influence on him.
