I just watched the pilot from Tru Calling, I kind of like that show.

At 9:15, Me mom called me; the people who they went out to dinner with lost their keys in their car, can you come pick us up?

I got to the restaraunt in time to see the keys found. I offered to take my parents home, but they left with their friends.

OK, how sick is this, I went to my favorite Pizza place, they are now offering low carb pizza's with special sauce. They are also offering Soy Cheese, and meatless pepperoni. How sick is that? Next you will be saying that there is a chocolate substitue without any chocolate!!!!!

HOLY CAMOLY! I get home from CALLIGRAPHY class at 9PM and it takes me TWO HOURS to read all of today's post, with links (which were only partially read). THIS MADNESS MUST STOP!

Not really, I'm just jealous that I can't play with you during the day. Of course, I can't remember what all I wanted to respond to, let's see....

I'm wearing black jeans (WalMart) my grey Tigger "It's All About Me" sweatshirt and my second best pair of New Balance sneakers with peace/love/mickey mouse socks. Second best sneakers because it's raining up a storm tonight. (This is not what I wore to work BTW.) Also my multi metal watch that goes very nicely, thank you, with my nomination braclets and my topaz and citrine rings (birthstone).


Hey Lewski709, I think I've got a theory on why 'some people' go off on you. Now I've only run across a couple of examples of this since I rarely go over the the dark side, but here it is: Usually your first comment on a thread is very brief....like only one sentance. And I'm betting people that are inclined that way can see 'attitude' in a brief comment (and not see humor or sarcasm). Goodness knows those strangers don't know and love you like we do Anyway, this is just a theory that came to me tonight.

Congrats to our last batch of posters.....nice to end up the day with lots of good news! And now I've stayed up too late and am HUNGRY as well as sleepy......maybe a ham roll-up before bed.

It's on the WHEEL and there are still some dates/details to be finalized, but you'll have plenty of time to get settled in before the mass gathering.

Hi all....thanks for all the defending "over there". YIKES! I don't know, but there are a few who really have it in for me. As far as the original thread that got closed on resort boards, it was all true. Jealousy is very evil. I have a huge pet peeve.....liars! I don't do it.

Cheeringmom I know you were sticking up for me, thanks. I just didn't want you to mistake my comment as any indication that you weren't professional. I know sometimes things written come across as a slam to another and I was trying to say upfront that is not what I was doing. I, of course, do not try to upset applecarts, even though my sarcastic, dry humor may lead that way.

I was amazed at all the digs thrown my way and just decided it best not to fight fire with fire and ignore them (whiny, closed threads, did not get anything, all a lie, etc). I'm not made to take the crazyness out there. Pure evil lies in wait to attack, I swear. I imagine that IS why the OP did not post on the RB to begin with. I stay away from there.

I used to belong to a catholic womens board and had to get out of dodge there as they were the most evil I have ever encountered. It was like the DB, everyday. I enjoy a little, friendly debate, but not when knives and lions are released daily.

yesterday afternoon we had a power outage, so I had a little of a time when I got home with the Pizza...

Oh, I feel slightly vindicated...MY DSIL (the one that is married to the DB RRBB can't stand) was telling my mom yesterday (at a charity luncheon) that they were having problems with their phone line being switched over from one company to another. I heard that he had to leave work early yesterday to deal with it. Had he only but called me, I could have directed him to the right department, and saved several hours...Oh well, (sigh) I guess he will just have to deal with it on his own.....My mom suggested I call him, and I answered that if it were anybody else I would. He would view the call as an affront to his ability, and would just get upset with me. Especially since he went way out of his way to not tell me. She looked at me (embarrassed for saying anything) and asked me not to mention it...


OK, the story of Bravely Bold Lady RRBB:

Bravely Bold lady RRBB brought forth from Dallas land. Bravely did she fly away Brave Bold Lady RRBB.

OK, I really don't have the time to finish composing, so I will give the few details she told me....
She called Wednesday night after their practice and had no hope. She said that they were just not great, and some of the other groups were much better. (at that point an image of the "She Bangs Guy" from American Idol popped into my head. I consoled her, told her to do her best.

Last night I got a call while she was changing (something about 23 voice-mails) and she told me that they won. She had a basket that the group had to split, but they were taking pictures with it before they divvied up the loot. It seems that they were better than she thought, and enthusiasm counted. I am not sure, but knowing her I am sure there was a LOT of enthusiasm and maybe even some audience participation.

She then explained to me that this all night crop was not Dragon Friendly, so a certain little princess dragon would be in the room.

I am not sure how she got connected to the internet (I am sitting here looking at the modem out of the palmtop she took with her) Her roomie must have a computer, or they must have one of those web-tv thingy's in the room. Who Knows... I do know that she is happy and excited. That makes me happy too (even if I do miss them both)

I hope I didn't offend you in the process, I was a little tough on everyone when I started out...My first draft started out as

And don't let those folks get you down. Trust me, I've gotten into many a heated conversation with quite a few DIS board members about various topics. And no matter what they may think of me or my coments, I never give a rat's behind. Nasty folks like that, much like their opinions, are fairly worthless in my opinion.

Besides, if they try to beat you up, you can tell them you'll sick the Tag on them!

And Cadburysmom, if you come near me with those cheetoh covered orange fingers and try to wipe them on my garments, I'll have to put a smack down on you lady!
