I took pictures of the wall – and there is a story within the murals but the shadows at this time of day did not give me much to work with. The best one

After I was through the trail I wandered in to use the restroom.

Ready for some gorillas?

Ready for some gorillas?

Of course. :)

We do love to walk the trails. The details are awesome, and it's such a great experience - for the kids especially - to see all of these animals up close. To see the way they move, to see how they interact with each other, to smell the smells, to see the textures of their fur/skin, etc.

Is the teacher in me coming out? ;)

Nice collection of restrooms! Oh, and we DID agree that HMs are in the eyes of the beholder.......... :rolleyes1

I have missed you around here. I have been busy this summer so I know how it gets. :goodvibes

Yes, and once you are behind on a TR catching up becomes more and more difficult, especially since yours is really moving along with regular new updates, not like mine which had about one update every two weeks!! :goodvibes

Yes, the teacher in you is coming out, but the best part is that you just have to teach and watch them take it all in. You do not need to test and record how much they actually remembered. :teacher:

Until I walked slowly through that area, I had no idea there were restrooms every 20 feet.

Hey, I found all those HM for you. :3dglasses :lmao:

I have some time now and really want to be done before I leave in 23 days. :goodvibes

I hate to admit this, but I forget whether a "1" rating is the best or the worst.

from Jordans into on LMA Part II
A great restroom is a single flush and dirty, stanky, wet restroom rates a quintuple flush. Think about it. If it takes 5 flushes to get the "stuff" down the toilet......

I had to look it up before I posted too!!!
:rotfl2:

Here comes the gorilla photo session.
Don’t be shy.

Anything special going on inisde today???

Ak pictures are always wonderful!! And you caught a lot of detail at the train station. It is a pretty special place, I have never seen it crowded and with no one else waiting around, one can really imagine that one is going to catch the next train to Nairobi, Arusha or similar.... :goodvibes

Wow - you got some great up close and personal pictures of AK. I love all your hidden Mickeys. Yes - some were a bit of a stretch, but most were fabulous and I might need to copy your pictures just to find them.

:rotfl: to the Jordan bathroom reference.

Usually one would rush through the train station to catch the train or be stuck in a crowd with others and unable to look around. I was lucky to almost have the place to myself. :goodvibes

I can imagine getting ready to take off on a train trek to somewhere exotic. :goodvibes

The AK murals are full of them. Now you might need to get in the bushes to get closer to confirm them but a great creative effort on the Imagineers. :goodvibes

:rotfl: to the Jordan bathroom reference.

Every time I go in to a bathroom, I think of his rating system.

I love the photo shoot commentary....."work it, work it". :rotfl2:

He was either staring me down or playing it up for the camera. I chose playing it up for the camera, the other would have been scary. :rotfl2:

Making my way inside CS.

Our CM for the ride back. Sweet girl but her voice was like nails on a chalkboard.

IMG_8388.jpg

Time for the safari!!!

And look at the smile on his face!

A little too furry for my taste. :rotfl2:

Yikes, that bird can't have much more blood than that in his/her little body!

I think they may have taken several vials. Hopefully he/she got some juice and cookies afterwards. :lmao:

You doing OK with this weather? We have had on and off tornado warnings all afternoon. Tiny cells of severe weather and the weather people are going nuts because the computere is telling them there is rotation. So far nothing major but I will be able to relax when this all gets out of the way.
