Bitter sweet. I look forward to the "New" Fantasy Land but will definitely miss the old.

I've been using C25K. I've been averaging a 12:15 run pace but have been consciously been trying to slow down so I can get the distance. It seems to be helping but man am I running slow. Might toss in a day of sprints to help build my speed once I get my distance down. I need to since I registered at the 11 - 13 pace? I will problably not start there tho. DH is registered in the stroller division w/ DD and DS is registered at under 13 min. I kinda want to start with them.

I see many people are using C25K. WIth my knee injury I took it real slow because every other time I have tried the knee barked NO.

The run/walk method worked for me. I could recover, keep moving forward and then start again.

Having the app tell me pacing also keeps me alert. I find myself getting zoned out until the voice tells me pace and then I can pick it up a bit. It is like having a built in nag to yell at me.


If all else fails to pick up speed - have some Margaritas the night before. Worked for me.

Seeing the Barnstormer makes me remember what a great time we had during the last trip. We probably rode it 4 times in a row. Hannah loved that ride...she will miss it this trip, but she's probably ready to move onto bigger and better rides anyway! And I don't think we could have gotten Owen on it anyway.

I never saw the queue for Goofy's Barnstormer, so thanks for the pictures.

I think it's pretty cool how they put building "pictures" on these tarps. Can you imagine what an eyesore they'd be if they were just covered in a green tarp or something/

You can set the "voice" to different times and I think you have a choice of distance/time & MPH and minutes per mile pace. Margaritas are not a bad idea either.

Toontown was just thrown together when they couldn't milk Mickey's starland anymore. I am glad they are finally doing justice to the area.

For a while the empty 20,000 leagues bothered me.

I think it will re-energize the area.

The walls in Fantasyland are pretty bad but I do like the scrims on the buildings. Helps save the pictures a bit. At least with the Fantasyland walls they did put up the quotes and previews of the new attractions.

"go away green" can only go so far.

After my tour of the now demolished Toontown and the walled up Fantasyland I kept walking.

Fantasyland certainly has many different garbage cans.

Moving on to Liberty square

The red umbrellas here are in front of the First Aid station.

I had a 20% off coupon that was good from 9-11am. I walk through the Emporium but could not find what I was looking for. I know Mousegears had what I was looking for. Hmmm so I decide I can make it over there and why not. I am alone and can do what I want, when I want.
I head to the Monorail. I see this.

Apparently just in the nick of time.

I get to the TCC and as I am walking down and around I stop for this.

I have always wanted monorail pictures. I would have liked to have purple and pink too but I wanted to get pictures of them all.
No time like the present. I had time to wait.

I am happy to report that Magic Kingdom looked a lot better this trip than it did in March. The Fantasyland walls were up, but there were none as we went through the castle, and Main Street looked really nice.

I'm anxious to see what you got with your discount.

I have always known them. 12- rainbow( ROYGBIV - no indigo) original- pink, coral, lime, black,gold,silver.
Now Teal has taken the place of pink and purple. Am I a monorail geek?
